OMG I am super lucky to come across this vid and right away noticed that the J lettering is exactly how you described! Although the B cursive lettering had a slight gap and the rest of the font was vaguely similar but upon checking on the real website, it is not the same. The fake one was slightly thicker. I quickly called the seller, canceled the purchase and got my refund. I was still in shocked! The fake was so close to real I wouldn't have noticed it myself. Thank you Parfume Realm!! They offered for me to keep the one I had and send another, but I asked for my money back. I compared everything and all seem to check out until I smelled it, didn't last longer than 5 mins. Oh no! I remember when this happened 😖. Too be fair, Baccarat Rouge 540 is sooo bizarre it had me contemplating MY baccarat that I bought for full priced at Sak’s because I was initially anosmic. It’s great that Ebay stepped in, makes me even more open to buying from them, but obviously not without caution.

I can smell it now more, but it’s not dense. It’s like an airy sweet medicinal scent. I’m keeping it hoping that the sillage is great.
I know, those differences are so hard to even notice!! That’s the crazy thing, I still don’t think I would shell out the full retail price for this but I think to be on the safe side you should do what you feel most comfortable with! Especially if you go with the extrait!

Aren’t you at all concerned at what could be in these fakes? Perfume us already pretty toxic by nature but shoddy people would care even less. I wouldn’t buy a fake and wouldn’t encourage others but that’s just me. The fakes put me off even the originals.

I can only imagine that the Covid crisis aggravated people s financial situation and they try to „get it back“ from innocent customers...when I buy more costly stuff now I try to make sure that I can get my money back in case. It s worth to spend a bit more money at the beginning for security reasons...it took me some bad experiences to come to this conclusion.

I never had any second thoughts about my unit as people could feel the sillage even If I was not around them but after watching this video I juz rushed to my closet with my heart pumping and inspected everything and found that my bottles are original and everything you said in video comparing the original bottle was true. I just had my own very first bad experience on Ebay. The seller listed the wrong price and reneged on the sale after I won the auction and paid for the item. She contacted me saying she was going to cancel the order saying that 'Ebay' made a mistake and wasn't supposed to sell at that price. After two days of waiting to receive cancellation confirmation, I checked her profile and saw that she had listed the same item for sale without cancelling my order and actually had the gall to ask me to initiate cancellation! The most jarring thing about this experience was that even though she was clearly wrong she refused take responsibility and her conviction that she did no wrong therefore had zero remorse. It makes my blood boil

The fact that it smells the same is the craziest part but you will find that after about half and hour the smell completely turns into something else, it’s the opening that is truly tricky!

eBay quite honestly scares me. I like niche houses and it tempts me to get a discounted deal but I stick to reputable discounted suppliers that I’m familiar with and the actual official websites.

i'm glad ebay helped you out, but they are kind of a garbage platform for honest sellers. i have le labo flacons direct from the manufacturer with my name, date bottled, and bottler's name on the flacon, and i still get the occasional case opened where someone claims the samples are fake. honest sellers have no real choice other than to lose money on the deal and pay for the return shipping and loss of any liquid the buyer may have sprayed.
That’s very true, it’s a flawed platform and I try my best not to take it out on the sellers as I know that often they are as shocked as we are when something is fake, I’ve only ever had to make two claims during my many years as a ebay shopper and I hope people do not abuse the ability to make these returns because it does impact honest sellers, thank you for raising this point 💙
You may have purchase a Baccarat Rouge tester.The perfume tester smells exactly like the original only the box and the bottle differ .that doesn't mean the perfume is not original .Enter the barcode on Digit-Eyes and you will know if the perfume is a tester or if it's fake
Its always a risk but I think I’ve saved so much money on eBay that even if I had not gotten this refund, my net “saved” spendings would still be far from the negatives!
I am sorry this happened to you, but at least you got your money back. I get ansomic to it too, I think a lot of people do. I was at the dr's office and someone about 5 feet away from me could smell it and I couldn't smell it at all. I find that if I don't wear it a lot I can smell it, but if I wear it two days in a row, I can't smell it after about a half hour, which isn't so bad - at least the bottle will last longer! Great video, a lot of fakes out here. Also, the atomizer should be plastic. A lot of fakes spray the way yours does and they have a metal ring on the inside instead of being all plastic so if your in doubt remove the top and check as well
But you can't always tell real from fake just by the box. The MFK boxes change and are not always the same for each released prints. And if the company manufacturers them in another country for the overseas market, that too will look slightly different. Also, now the newer perfumes have a QR code but it only started recently so if you have an older perfume, it won't show a QR code. It's mainly in the smell you can tell the difference, and the Chinese fakes smell awful.
This exact same thing JUST happened to me. Everything checked out except the fragrance. As someone who owns the oil, lotion and has been using this fragrance for so long I was extremely disappointed. This e bay seller had great reviews and was listed in the US, however this came from Russia and it is an absolute fake.
Honestly it’s getting out of hand, especially because of how closely the fakes resemble the actual bottle, some of the shops that sell them are overall pretty reliable but they need to stop picking up from certain distributors because of all of the fakes, so I agree it’s such a disappointing experience when that happens 😕💙

I was just warring with myself on whether or not to plop down such a ridiculous amount (but also REALLY want this particular scent!😁) and I was so close to buying one on an ebay for 150., which I woke up to find I'd been outbid! I’ve been a fan of BKR for a while and I always buy mine from the House. However, if ur paying a cheap price and it smells like the real one I don’t think that should be an issue. Unless, the seller tells u it’s authentic when it isn’t. To those u are reading this now, don’t panic if u don’t see the book .I think it’s discontinued. I know mine is real and it didn’t come with the book either time and mine is form MFK. By the way..nothing to be humiliated about. These things happen to all of us

Wow I’ve scoured eBay for legitimate bottles and over 70% look fake even the decant sellers. Apart from wasting money it’s horrible that new sniffers will never experience the true scent because of these scammers.

I got scammed with a Baccarat Rouge 540. Bought it on ebay, and the smell is close to disgusting :( Just yicki sour :/ The bottle is close to the real deal but with some differences, and the juice is darker in the fake one. I just contacted the seller and will ask ebay for help with the refund if I can't sort anything out with the (low life) seller. I am sorely tempted to warn you against this seller here, but maybe that is taking it a bit too far... for now. The worst part of this, is that I bought another one from someone else on ebay which smells wonderful, but I don't know if that one is a fake as well! I just know, that the bottle on that one looks more authentic, and the smell is great :/

I got half of my money back, and am keeping the fake bottle (yay) I was told by the seller, that perfumes are manufactured "differently" in different countries. Either this poor woman is being cheated horribly by her suppliers, or she is well aware that that is bull***t and hopes that I will buy the really lame explanation. Well, the offer was too good to be true. I suspect they buy one authentic perfume, and dilute it sometimes almost beyond recognition :/ Lesson learned. This time ;)

I have used this perfume for many years, and when I got this I absolutely thought what a great deal after 6 weeks of waiting for it. But.... I noticed when I sprayed it that I started having asthma type symptoms which I’ve never had with this perfume before . Was strange so I haven’t used it more than once and was going to sell it but certainly don’t want to if it’s fake. i'm glad ebay helped you out, but they are kind of a garbage platform for honest sellers. i have le labo flacons direct from the manufacturer with my name, date bottled, and bottler's name on the flacon, and i still get the occasional case opened where someone claims the samples are fake. honest sellers have no real choice other than to lose money on the deal and pay for the return shipping and loss of any liquid the buyer may have sprayed.
That’s very true, it’s a flawed platform and I try my best not to take it out on the sellers as I know that often they are as shocked as we are when something is fake, I’ve only ever had to make two claims during my many years as a ebay shopper and I hope people do not abuse the ability to make these returns because it does impact honest sellers, thank you for raising this point 💙

You may have purchase a Baccarat Rouge tester.The perfume tester smells exactly like the original only the box and the bottle differ .that doesn't mean the perfume is not original .Enter the barcode on Digit-Eyes and you will know if the perfume is a tester or if it's fake
Perhaps but I doubt it as I had a perfume expert look at the bottle and tell me that unfortunately it was inauthentic 😔

Its always a risk but I think I’ve saved so much money on eBay that even if I had not gotten this refund, my net “saved” spendings would still be far from the negatives!

I get ansomic to it too, I think a lot of people do. I was at the dr's office and someone about 5 feet away from me could smell it and I couldn't smell it at all. I find that if I don't wear it a lot I can smell it, but if I wear it two days in a row, I can't smell it after about a half hour, which isn't so bad - at least the bottle will last longer! Great video, a lot of fakes out here. Also, the atomizer should be plastic. A lot of fakes spray the way yours does and they have a metal ring on the inside instead of being all plastic so if your in doubt remove the top and check as well

But you can't always tell real from fake just by the box. The MFK boxes change and are not always the same for each released prints. And if the company manufacturers them in another country for the overseas market, that too will look slightly different. Also, now the newer perfumes have a QR code but it only started recently so if you have an older perfume, it won't show a QR code. It's mainly in the smell you can tell the difference, and the Chinese fakes smell awful.
This exact same thing JUST happened to me. Everything checked out except the fragrance. As someone who owns the oil, lotion and has been using this fragrance for so long I was extremely disappointed. This e bay seller had great reviews and was listed in the US, however this came from Russia and it is an absolute fake.
Honestly it’s getting out of hand, especially because of how closely the fakes resemble the actual bottle, some of the shops that sell them are overall pretty reliable but they need to stop picking up from certain distributors because of all of the fakes, so I agree it’s such a disappointing experience when that happens 😕💙

I was just warring with myself on whether or not to plop down such a ridiculous amount (but also REALLY want this particular scent!😁) and I was so close to buying one on an ebay for 150., which I woke up to find I'd been outbid! Now I'm wondering if I dodged a bullet! No that was another one of my mistakes, this was just a major case of foolishness on my end, I was just too speedy and reckless in my decision making when it came to this particular purchase!

I’ve been a fan of BKR for a while and I always buy mine from the House. However, if ur paying a cheap price and it smells like the real one I don’t think that should be an issue. Unless, the seller tells u it’s authentic when it isn’t. To those u are reading this now, don’t panic if u don’t see the book .I think it’s discontinued. I know mine is real and it didn’t come with the book either time and mine is form MFK. By the way..nothing to be humiliated about. These things happen to all of us

Wow I’ve scoured eBay for legitimate bottles and over 70% look fake even the decant sellers. Apart from wasting money it’s horrible that new sniffers will never experience the true scent because of these scammers.

I got scammed with a Baccarat Rouge 540. Bought it on ebay, and the smell is close to disgusting :( Just yicki sour :/ The bottle is close to the real deal but with some differences, and the juice is darker in the fake one. I just contacted the seller and will ask ebay for help with the refund if I can't sort anything out with the (low life) seller. I am sorely tempted to warn you against this seller here, but maybe that is taking it a bit too far... for now. The worst part of this, is that I bought another one from someone else on ebay which smells wonderful, but I don't know if that one is a fake as well! I just know, that the bottle on that one looks more authentic, and the smell is great :/

I got half of my money back, and am keeping the fake bottle (yay) I was told by the seller, that perfumes are manufactured "differently" in different countries. Either this poor woman is being cheated horribly by her suppliers, or she is well aware that that is bull***t and hopes that I will buy the really lame explanation. Well, the offer was too good to be true. I suspect they buy one authentic perfume, and dilute it sometimes almost beyond recognition :/ Lesson learned. This time ;)

I ordered a sample from a third party site and im glad i only paid €8 because it smells weird it hardly stays on my skin and it smells if i can put the perfect description on it it smells like Nitrice. im going to go to our department store and smell it there because its not doing much its not over powering and i smell cotton candy and laughing gas 😒

I have used this perfume for many years, and when I got this I absolutely thought what a great deal after 6 weeks of waiting for it. But.... I noticed when I sprayed it that I started having asthma type symptoms which I’ve never had with this perfume before . Was strange so I haven’t used it more than once and was going to sell it but certainly don’t want to if it’s fake. The "j" in Kurkdijan is always off when its a fake!!!!! the bottom of the "j" is fat but needs to be slim.
