dagger kinda goes crazy if you can flank well or use dashes, personally I main dagger because you can just hit and run.
Ik what you mean but for people who struggle with closing the range sword is a better melee weapon. I personally use sword and dash
@@Willx0040 personally, I use invis dagger to become french but I kinda want to try using sword. dash, I could never really find a good use for it.

Sniper beats swords at close range more than anything for me. The skill gap is the only thing that exists there. 1 stun gun and sword is cancelled like that.

I gotta say sword is a very useful weapon with dash and invis grenade. Despite it being a melee weapon you can still get in and out of almost all fights if needed, perfectly suiting the light builds hit and run strategy. I often end up being the best in my team in regular tournaments already after playing light for only 5 days. Just the Cl40s outplay me most of the time but that thing is very strong against any light (I only play light for the 150 win achievement, 500 hour medium main)

Throwing knives aren't exactly terrible, they just tend to be a bit of a crutch that newer and more experienced players rely on...or for when you just meme around.
That said, M11, and XP54 I'd argue are pretty much neck and neck. XP54 has a smaller magazine, but potential for greater accuracy with its optic, it's basically the Light's version of the FCAR vs. The AKM.

not knowing how to use throwing knives is peak skill issue
Haven’t come across a single player that made me think “ya he’s really good with those”. Similar to the new burst-pistol, they just lack a function (other than looking cool which IS a viable reason to use them imo). I have full respect for anyone trying to hit clips with the flashy/skill-gap weapons, but the throwing knives are not useful at all against conscious players.
@@ELHOMO21 thowing knives is good at hunting last-man standing players or harrasing teams that are under pressure. it works really well especially if you have a coordinated team. one mistake and your dead. people who try to use throwing knives gets melted off because they dont know when to engage and disengage or simply had the wrong pacing
