Very useful and very intelligent video. Thank you author! This stuffs I learned by small pieces on my own experience. It's too long while. You just show small parts of the game that can change people's future.
Depend though i used it at a mix i used back hand grip and pressure to the corner of my thumb but i only used this on normal backhand clear and lift the reason is bevel grip has a cap in the middle it will slip off. I only used bevel when im later or shuttle is too close or im going for a backhand overhead smash or backhand drop shot
Reason i pressure at the side of my thumb yes correct if u pressure your thumb straight like the normal backhand the racket face is different and u might also cause injury to your thumb due to overstretching for backhand clear
What grip to use when we are in defense in singles? In Internet there are a lot information but only about doubles, where people say that we should use backhand grip. I tried using different: bevel, forehand, backhand grip and each is uncomfortable ( maybe only for me idk ). What do you guys think ? Thanks.
I would recommend a neutral grip in the middle of the handle because you need to be ready for a shot on either your forehand or backhand side. Overcomitting to one side will leave a weakness if you gamble wrong, but having a neutral grip will give you options.

U need to be ready position when defence. And use right posture.
U should hold the racket in neutral grip. Also u can anticipate the shot wer it is going.
I use backhand and forehand grip
