I do like the direction your headed in. The end user market for tropicals could use the education.

Just ordered a Pickering that’s 2-3 feet tall. Going in a pot. Any recommendations on the gallon size I should put it in? And what kind of soil composition. Great video!

when the roots grow near the bottom keep going up 3 gallon, 7 gallon, 15 gallon, 25 gallon usually takes sometime before you need to up pot them but if you bought it at the right time it may be able to go sooner

Pickering does well in 9b, but you will need to protect it during the colder months.

I like mango that tastes like mango, I don't really like mixed flavors. It's like figs that taste like cherries, berries, etc. I like figs that taste like figs. Of course they are sweet.

    • @rajeke

Understood, try using them in def ways. Perhaps roasting cherry figs and using them on a desert topping replacing the actual cherries?

Why my mango fruits at interval of 2 years?
Can i make it to fruit every year?
My mango plant is 10 years old 15 ft height with base trunk diameter 25cm.
With vertical apical branch and big lateral branch .this year it is fruiting
    From Nepal 🇳🇵🇳🇵

    • @FruitfulTrees
      @FruitfulTrees  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Do you prune it ever year? How much and right after you pick the mangos? Usually what makes a mango not fruit each year is either pruning at the wrong time or not enough nutrition

      no it's not pruned?
And i applied cow dunk as manure.
Is there any genetic factors in not fruiting every year?
And plant is suffering from green fungus in every leaf bolcking sun light what might be its remedy?
I ll purne tree after this harvest.
      Thanks for your reply
