Rewatching this a couple years later, and I just wanted to say how much I appreciate that you scaled the UI up for easy viewing!! I watch mostly on my phone, and it’s often quite tricky to see small UI elements.

I loved the moment you were following Sertorias after picking up the arrows and then hunting out of zone. "yea.. Sertorias is an absolute beast" This cracked me up, please keep the series going!
The houses get bigger as you upgrade them. This game, unlike most, will reserve the space you need for the upgrades later when you build your teir 1 buildings. Hence the gap in between your houses.
Really fun-looking game! It combines what I like about Anno and similar games and adds the storytelling you find in Dwarf Fortress and Rimworld. I'd like to see more!
I've been looking forward to this being released - I've always loved Banished but this seems more complex with the added beauty building of Anno. Love the fact that you're naming your town Swords, I thought it was a tribute to Anno when you started Sweet Transit but it's becoming your theme now.
This game is one of the few I actually have on my wish list. It's all thanks to watching you play anno 1800 and my sheer addiction to civilization (think i started playing around civ 2 launch..) games & city builders (mainly like banished & endzone type games) that I can hardly wait for it to come out and would love to see a series on this if you put one out. Keep up the great work, and thank you for sharing with us! ^.^
Fantastic to see this game here! The random stuff on the ground is a result of the season change, I think, as the villagers just drop their things and go and prepare for the new season in their homes.
Farthest Frontier is already very playable and great on many aspects. Just out of early access it will be better than many others. It has some very well though ideas (fertility on farmland) but also need some optimisation and rework/improvements on some mechanics (hunters/roads). Definitely hoping for a full serie ! :D

So glad I watched this, "The Settlers" (newest) game, really needs to take some serious notes from this. After all, this is what the Settlers IS supposed to be based on. At this rate, I'll end up moving over to Farthest Frontier instead. Nicely done series.

I wonder when will people finally realize that those two-lane dirt tracks are a MODERN phenomena caused by car wheels! A track used by carts and horses wouldn't have a strip of grass down the middle because the animals would be trampling all over it.
I got caught up on your Satisfactory let's play series so I opened a new tab to watch this one. I don/'t ever get any notifications from youtube even though I am subscribed and the bell is set to all on many channels! I can't find a way to ask youtube what is wrong. I just leave the tabs open to the page and check every now and then to see if a new upload is available. This one looks interesting although I already have several recent games in this genre I can still watch you play even if I don't buy this game.
Eehm i think the base idea of this game just like android game "The Life of Mellow". The way we gather people for resource, put them for work at workplace, And sometimes spawn new villagers.
Never played banished, but I really liked End Zone, and im looking forward to this game. Is it worth it to just play banished now instead of waiting for move banished clones\children?
Banished is a little dated now in my opinion, but can still be fun and is fairly cheap by comparison. This game is like Banished 2 in many ways, it seems to expand on each of its mechanics in some way.

Not because of gathering resources takes long, but traffic. Maintain a certain level of spacing.

Really cool game! Reminds me of Banished a lot, if a bit more stylized in a different way. Sadly, the music is nowhere near as fantastic.
