You tied this fly for me at a fly show in Longmont a couple of years ago. It's a winner!!

Charlie this fly has bin a little bit of a challenge for me not because of how's its tied but because of my Parkinson that i have been dealing with noww for the fourth year, what I've had to do is while I wrap the tail i had to use some glue to keep the threads on as I was wrapping the tail other than that I was able to this fly. Thank you once again for all the hard work you do in making thes videos. Till we meet again you frend in the ball of thread and fathers. John

I had the pleasure of watching Phil tie this pattern at the Wasatch fly fishing expo in Utah. Super nice guy.
I like your tricks to make it a little easier to tie.
I always enjoy your tying videos, they are loaded with great tips and info.
    Thank you

Wow!!! That is a great way to make an extended body! No messing with caulk or glue! Thx!

Left handed whip finish is my nemesis.

Thanks CC for making an extended body simple. There are times when I question “is the juice worth the squeeze”, on certain patterns, but how you just simplified Phil’s pattern today, I’m looking forward to tying extended bodies again!!!

Super nice way to do the body. I'll have to try that with some spice.

It would help a lot for you to provide a list of the components your using to tie the fly

Such a simple method for tying an extended body. Most foam bodies are too thick, or if cut thinner shows too much thread.👍

I feel like no dubbing on thorax portion as well would make it look even more, idk uniformly better? Maybe up a size of the same colored thread for the thorax bulk. Hmm Def gonna mess around with this one😂Great fly Phil 🍻🍻

Im definitely thinking about taking this technique under water on a nymph hook! 🤔

Why did you not dub over the entire portion of crimped tippet to where the extended body was round? Was it in an effort to keep the thorax smaller? Love the tutorials! I always learn a thing or two with every video!

Thanks a lot for the great tutorial. Could you say more about how Dyna-King’s new jaw is different from its older version?

Charlie what do think if you lay a little layer of solares to stiffen up the thread layer and then the second layer with thread would be more easy to wrap?
