Thank you for the video! I have the Epson ET-2803 and noticed my yellow was not printing. When I would print the "nozzle check" page, there would be no yellow showing. I tried the regular "head cleaning" option a few times but didn't see any improvement. I then tried the "power cleaning" option and it worked wonders. The nozzle check print now looks perfect. I did not have to do the manual cleaning as you demonstrated, but I appreciate knowing how to do that now if the issue happens again and the power clean does not resolve the issue.
My printer was printing a pink design. The paper got jammed at some point, but cleared itself and continued printing . The remainder of the design came out without color, only lightly tinted gray. I ran a few nozzle checks, etc Now, all colors are printing except black. What can I do?
i followed all of these instructions, but I still have a black vertical line on all my glossy prints. Question: when cleaning/wiping the ink from the print head, are you ever really going to remove all the ink? I'm referring to the ink under the silver/metal plate. When I gained access to the print head, there was a lot of ink that I cleaned up, but I don't know if it all will really come off. WIll it?
@@CopyPrintScanChannel Thank you for responding! The ink appears to be mostly gone. The black ink was everywhere! I cleaned ink from other places since I had the printer open and my vertical line is gone. Thanks again!
I followed your video step by step and now I'm getting scanner error E02 (100016) and the print head move but when it moves to right it slam very hard to the right side. I fixed the ribbons that was disconnected from the scanner, but I'm still getting the scanner error E02 , I'm also getting a paper jam error W02, but no paper is jammed in printer . Any suggestion?
Scanner error occurs if the scanner wire is unpluged. Plz check the wire that connecets scanner to motherboard and reconnect it. Paper jam error will go away after that.
@@moniquedinkins282 Look at 3:40 in the upper left corner you'll see black tape right there are two ribbon wires that connect the scanner, when lifting up the printer shell it can easily disconnect, like what happened to mine, they're a pain to put back in but those are the ones that give the scan error
@@Pugmom76 it took me numerous and I mean NUMEROUS prints to get it back to all the colors printing well so my suggestion is keep printing the blue color then once it’s getting back to normal print all again and see how it comes out unless someone else has a suggestion but you just need to get the ink going after converting your printer
Try power wash to see if ink can go through or not.. If the pipe is empty and ink is not moving then the ink peipe can be removed cleared and then reinstalled to fix this.
Hi your video was great i got the ink to the cartridges and I was putting it back together when the screwdriver fell and I pulled loose two wires and now I don't know where they go i need another video telling me where to put two small wires
Can you send a photo ? Also look for the wires end part and see if it match with any structure to insert. If these wires are not connected then after assambling printer, printer will show error. That can give an idea if they need to be fixed or not.
If the ink level is good and ink is there in the supply pipes, then you may need to replace the printhead. After so much cleaning the printhead should work and if not then you need to wait for 48 hrs after clening or place new printhead. Best is to do auto printhead cleaning after 48 hrs for next few days, it may work after that.
Nothing was working. Printed solids, to avoid printhead cleaning did not work. Regular cleaning multiple times and Power cleaning once did not work either. So tried this as a last resort and it worked. Thanks

The same thing happened to me and one of the wires came loose. Check all the connections. Especially where the hinges are towards the back of the printer.
This is a great video THANK YOU! I cleaned it and now Yellow and Red work again. If the reservoirs/damps are dry then I recommend the following video th-cam.com/video/wfoEw7zGIiY/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=Richard-Sistemas I did it for the blue because it was still failing after I completed the video of print head cleaning.
Came here to drop a thank you. Color hadn't been working for months. followed this video and I'm up and running again!!!!😃
Glad I could help

Excellent video. Definitely I will try it, Thanks!

Thank you for this well explained and filmed video.
You're welcome!
Thanks.
Have you had any issues with this printer not powering on at all?
The power supply appeared to output 93volts ac and 41volts DC
Thank you. Just did same thing and printer start work good again.
Great to hear!

Yes removing will help to clean it properly. But you can do it without that. I hope that helps.

I just converted my Epson et 2803 to a sublimation printer and it is printing odd do I have to do the first step or can I just do the power clean?
Sublimation colors are dull until you put them on something
You need to do color correction to Adobe and Gama 2.2. And like another comment said, it will be dull until sublimated.
@@944LS thank you for this I had done it and yes it came with dull colors for a while but eventually it printed amazing!
So my yellow isn't bad but blue is like nothing when I do the head cleaning print. I did it 3 times. What did I do wrong?

What if it looks like the ink is not flowing through to the cartridge? Like the tube is clogged instead of the printhead.

Exellent video..Can I use alcohol to clean the printer head?..or water is better ?
Alcohol is good but you can use water.
Scared but I guess im trying this tomorrow. I mean! What's the worst that can happen....i can't use it like it is. Magenta and cyan won't print at all
