My NEW 18x18x24 CRESTED GECKO VIVARIUM!!!

I have the same tank for my crested gecko, only problem is holding in the humidity, what do you suggest to keep it at a good level.

Can I use a 18 x 18 x 12 for its whole life ? I want a gecko that can but I dont want a super small gecko.

I definitely suggest pothos, because it is sturdy enough to support their weight, and it just lets them climb in general

This looks really good I'd recommend putting some more foliage to give more coverage which will make him feel safer and maybe something like a hanging coconut hide as my crestie loves sleeping in it. Great job!

I put so many plants and branches and rocks and bark everywhere. I fill my tanks a lot because they love that. Put as much foliage as you can imo

I agree, mine likes hiding in the leaves of flukers foliage, and i'm upgrading her to a 30 gallon tall screen cage

Great video, I’m looking into a crested gecko but I’m getting confused, do cresties actually need a heating pad if your room stays above a certain temperature and also do they need the lighting too, thanks

Thank you so much, you definitely should get one they are so cool and make amazing pets! They need to be kept between 65-73 degrees, they do great in room temperature I just find a heat of a great way to keep the heat accurate during winter time when it can get bit cold!

Yea reccomended temperature is 75-78, and a lit bit of uvb is always great wether you have live plants or not!

Hi there, you don’t have to it’s mainly for bio active set ups with live plants but I use it to help keep the humidity levels up!
