❤❤❤ No words needed. So much memories and so much new places we haven`t visited yet on the nc 500! Scotland feels so much as coming home. It will never bores you. Thanks for that stunning 23 minutes of great story telling and pure happiness ❤
I searched NC500 and your video came up. All i can say is WOW!! I’m not sure us Aussies would cope with the Scottish winter, but our plan is for late spring next year. I feel quite inspired, thank you 😊
“Yellow snow warning” that made me giggle 🤣🤣. Great video guys and well done for doing it in Winter. Did you find many sites open to deal with waste etc.?
😂😂 omg, I've only just connected that. Hilarious! We didn't struggle re. sites, they're pretty well equipped on the NC500 for campervans and motorhomes, as it's so popular. And it was fine in winter, the only time we struggled was during the snow, but the aire in Golspie was still open and even advised us on how to thaw the taps out 😂!
Smashing stuff. We did it in late Spring this year and might try and Winter and/or Autumn one next time. Avoiding fthe yellow snow at all times of course 😂
Awesome! Enjoy your trip! Re. Cameras, we've got a bit of a mixture, I use my main Sony A7 IV for a lot of it, then we vlog on a DJI Pocket 2 (feels less weird speaking into it than the camera!), and use a GoPro for driving. Oh and our DJI Mini 3 pro drone (we've built up a bit of an armoury 😅)
wow i'm planning a trip later this year doing some research and this video is fantastic can't wait for my trip later this year will be leaving south wales and doing this in september this year will be looking for free park up's sites and pub stays solo traveller with a dog
Hello Roz,Thanks for such a wonderful narration about places to visit in NC 500.I would appreciate if you can let us know ,how much it costs for camper van rental, cost of stay in various places and number of days you did the trip and the total cost for your itinerary. i am planning to see this trip in Sep or Oct to see the Northern lights because the sun is in the Solar maximum now.During this time there are more chances of seeing the Northern lights in the Northern parts of NC 500 either from Wick or Thurso or ullapool. Your answer is much apprciated.Best wishes. Avimore is a splendid place to vist.
Hello! I can't be too helpful here, as we have our own van. But in terms of timings, if you can do 2 weeks, that should give you enough time to go slowly. But if you want to do it you could do it in a week minimum..but that would be super rushed! Budget 10-15 pounds a night for accomodation (campsites or donation boxes). Fingers crossed you see the northern lights! 🤞
The west coast is nicer but the people or so unfriendly, after you pase Tongue the roads become just 1 way track and the locals driving so agresivly. From Tongue to Ullapool it's a nightmare....John o'Groat is verry disappointed....nothing to ofer

Always enjoy your films. I’m looking to work from my camper travelling in Scotland next year, so you’re both an inspiration! 😊
Thank you 😊! It's so good for remote working, surprisingly fast internet in the most remote of places! Enjoy! 💙
