Hey! Croatia was fine, we didn’t really come across many strays. And that was the same for Montenegro, at least by the coast. In Albania there were a lot. But we didn’t get into too much trouble with them/come across any aggressive ones. But that was partly why we stayed at campsites. As Frank is very inquisitive and always wants to get close to any dog, even if they look like they have mange etc! If there were any issues, most street dogs (sadly) pick up on humans shooing them away.

From memory they were free to go on all trains, but I think we had to buy a dog ticket for the gondola! But overall, Switzerland was pretty dog friendly. Worth a quick google to check this is up to date though, as this was a year and a bit ago!

We use a few apps to help with van travels, to find spots to stay the night as well as places to fill up with water and do van services we use Park4Night and Search for sites. And to find hikes etc we use All Trails when we’re in the spots. We also love a good a travel book!

Thanks! We loved Cornwall, but definitely think it’s better to visit when it isn’t the summer holidays! Re. The Van painting, it was a long few days of work, but we’re happy with how it looks now (we gave it a final coat when we got back from Cornwall) We bought specific horse box paint from Paints4Trade, then spent a day sanding everything back, putting on a primer coat, and then whacking on a lot of coats of paint. When I have time I’ll maybe do a blog or quick video on it! Are you considering it yourself for Colin?

Thanks! Italy is superrrrr dog friendly, they absolutely love them! They do have some rules on leashing dogs in busy places, and muzzles on public transport (but not on gondolas). But like in most places, these rules aren’t enforced as long as your dog is well behaved 👍. So we had Frank off lead on hikes where possible, but he’s also too hyped and wants to say hello/play with everyone we pass, hence why on the busy hikes in the video you’ll see him with a lead on 😂😂 I can’t speak to swimming as Frank hates the water, but we didn’t see any signs about no swimming for people or their pets! Hope that helps!

Haha we know the midgies well in this area, we went to a festival last year in Galloway and the main stage area was swarming 😂! We’d love to come back and do some of the beaches round there when it gets warmer. And ha, I believe he’s just happy to get another go at sniffing things he’s missed as we’ve walked past 😂

@TheseWildJourneys Was that the Eden Festival? I've never been, but you can hear it from my parents' house if the wind's in the right direction. They're just 5 minutes up the road from the site.

@@ewanstevenson it was at a festival called Knockengarroch - was really cool! (but very midgey and muddy!)

Wow! Yes we saw that place as we hiked up! Beautiful place for a honeymoon 👌🏻 We really loved the Trossachs, super wild and peaceful!

Ahh nice one; thank you! And for sure - keep an eye out for a big green brick traveling at slow to medium speeds along single track roads, that’ll likely be us 😂

Thanks for watching! The Dolomites were proper epic. We have a shower in our van, so we could be a bit flexible and stay in cheap/free places like ski lift car parks. But I think there are also a number of campsites available, we used the app Park4night and Searchforsites to find these places
