At the 4:38 mark, you asked what this symbol is over the door. This is a Chi-Rho, The letters X and P are often used as another symbol for Christ. The first two letters of Christ's name in Greek are X and P. In the Greek alphabet, X equals "CH," and P equals "R." Also known as the Chi-Rho cross, the letters are usually inscribed one over the other and are sometimes enclosed within a circle, becoming both a cosmic and a solar symbol. Learning more things about the state I was born and raised in. Thanks.

Judge Clark passed away a few years ago. I remember going out to his ranch years ago. He was taking care of President Reagan's horse Amadeus. He was a magnificent white stallion, quite something.

My wife worked as a guide at some cave where Jesse had signed a wall in pencil. They eventually had to place something over it to protect the signature, because people wanted to touch it. Yeah, people thought it was cool to do so. as far as I know you can still see his signature through protective plastic.

You're right. Locals don't really know about that cabin. I grew up there, but never heard of it! The rumors that I heard were that James stayed out on a ranch near Creston, which is near the winery where you were for the concert. This is the FIRST time that I have ever seen that cabin.

Their uncle Drury helped found Paso Robles. You would be surprised at all of the places the James clan were moving around in. Their grandpa was a pastor in my family's church through the Civil War in Kentucky.

I love the history of things. Like, seeing a old house that is falling down and wondering what it was like when it was brand new. Imagining the joy and happiness the original family felt the day they moved in. Paso Robles has a happiness about it; ... a happy time for Jesse James?

I toured there in 2oo2 with the James family reunion , with Judge James R. Ross, great great grandson of Jesse James and Cousin Eric James, if you look up my Facebook page you will, see me on the porch of the little cabin (I wore my Jesse James outfit the whole time I was there). we got to walk around a bit inside as well. A thrill of a lifetime for me ! AND this Vlog, guy is so wrong ! Jesse and Frank were NOT low on funds in 1867-68 ! They had robbed the Liberty Bank of $60,000 summer of 1866 ( which was equal to $ 7-8 million in todays money ! ). Uncle Drury James owned a 10,000 -acre La Panza Ranch, and wanted to build a fancy hotel and mineral springs spa~ but didn't have the cash flow he needed. Strangely enough, after Jesse and Frank returned to Missouri in 1869 Uncle Drury James started building his deluxe Hotel , it did a booming business and attracted other business and stagecoach stop-over, which grew to become the town of Paso Robles ! A town founded on outlaw money !!!

I knew Drury had been part of the founding of Paso Robles, but I didn't know the time period or back story. That's awesome! Thank you. It makes about a million times more sense now. :)
