A lot of times, when a performer has that one huge hit, they grow to hate it and playing it live makes them miserable. This obviously isn't the case here.
Countdown was a show on Australian TV in the 70's & 80's - music videos and live (or mimed) acts in a small studio, interviews etc. This "tour" was kind of a reunion of a heap of different Australian and overseas acts that were popular over the years. He is having so much fun
a classic...............!
What an iconic song! Loved it when I was younger. This back up band looked like they were having a blast playing the song..
This is so sad, I remember the first time he walked into an audition for my boyfriend's band, he looked just like John Lennon, played and sang just like John, blew us all away. So sad......
Really ?
Still one of the great rock anthems.
REST IN PEACE DOUG the most famous one hit wonder for sure , this song went to number one in Melbourne
Nice to see younger people of my age jamming to this song!
A lot of times, when a performer has that one huge hit, they grow to hate it and playing it live makes them miserable. This obviously isn't the case here.
This is just a song that gives me postive energy...and love life
Simplemente hermoso 🎉😊
Love this song!!! R.I.P. Doug
Countdown was a show on Australian TV in the 70's & 80's - music videos and live (or mimed) acts in a small studio, interviews etc. This "tour" was kind of a reunion of a heap of different Australian and overseas acts that were popular over the years. They've done 2 of these tours around major Australian cities
