I live in jax as well and remember that week into weekend. it was like a week long noreaster, would be difficult for anyone. We normally slay the reds and flounder in those creeks and run outs
I've learned so much from watching your videos. I would love to see you do a video in Deadman's Bay. My dad and I fish there a lot. Good place for drums, trout, snapper and bonnet heads.
I just got back fishing a creek for smallies. I had to call the cops because I found a dead body in the creek. I had my 11 year old son with me. Got skunked on the smallies, landed a largemouth though.
@@ethanol7490 dude, it was unreal. It was in the 6 o’clock news in Philly. It was in the Wissahickon creek. The guys friends were there, he jumped in and broke his neck or something they said. Not sure why they didn’t try and save him. They didn’t speak English. They also didn’t call cops or anything, or even try and get my attention. They let me find him on my own. Unreal.
@@ethanol7490 if it was anywhere else but the north west outskirts of Philly, I woulda been much more freaked out. This isn’t the first time I found a dead body. I don’t want to sound heartless but he was in a deep hole where the smallies are stacked up. It’s an hour drive and I’m pretty bummed I didn’t get one. I freaking love catching those fish.
@@smelltheglove2038how do you not catch smallies in wissahickon? Go down stream, when you hit the Skuke go right 😂. If you don't catch 20 in about 2hrs you're definitely doing something wrong. I had about 30 below Conchy to almost 4lbs a bonus 20in brown trout and lost a muskie. Stop wasting time and your kids patience 😂. And it's Philly. Bodies are the norm

Just got news from our local tuber more than fusbing that you and j&h will be in Cali for the more than fishing torny haha that sent chills down my spine hopefully I can meet you. You've inspired me to keep going at this life stuff man
When I'm hurting for killie pot bait I'll break some mussels off the sedges and use them. They are very effective and I seldom leave a killie pot unattended for more that 20 minutes.

Jacksonville isn’t my home territory (I’m practically your neighbor LOL) but I’m pleased to see you fish all around here. Keep up the great work!
Glad to hear! Typically red drum and black drum can be caught in florida year round. This spot I’m at now though is definitely more productive early Spring and late Fall so I bet some of those fish migrate and fill into these areas more before and after their migrating movements.
