I have taken many small game at longer distance, and it always punches through the head with .5, but this really surprised me because coconuts are extremely thick and tough. I really thought I was gonna be dodging the ball. It hit with authority..lol
I had wondered about this, interesting to see the proof, don't hit your thumb at those speeds IT HURTS. If you put another one through the same hole could have split it in two. About time I should break out some of my 11mm and see what happens.

@@ChuckinSteel agree,I am looking around to purchase a slingshot,even from the UK to Belgium ,where I live,14,80 Euro's extra , From the states around 22 $ while some slingshot are around 30$ Due a recent change in the law we are back allowed to have one.
Nice! I Have been finding that wider tapers in .45 are pushing 11mill still very fast as well with a reasonably lite draw of around 10 pounds!
They are very powerful for such a light draw.
