I'm in the Jewelry business all my life and I had to post a comment to tell you that you are a true artisan and a great craftsman, congratulations. Anyone would be lucky to have one of your creations.
Watching you make the ring was incredible, particularly, using techniques that has been used for several thousand years. I've watched other jewelers use expensive high tech machines (time saving) and wax carve designs but the end product seems to lose the timeless detail and soul that your dragon has. You're a true artist!!
I’ve watched a lot of things being made on here (jewelry, woodwork, metalwork, a cannon that shoots a baseball of the speed of sound, etc.) and this has to be the most impressive thing I’ve seen made on here. It’s not even close.
That was hands down the coolest ring build! You're an absolute artisan. I love the method of adding and removing metal to achieve the dimensions. The Metalist does a similar thing with his hand hammer but this is precisely way more intricate. I would love a ring like that in my collection. Bravo 👏🏼
I am an aspiring gold smith who often gets discouraged by people within the industry telling me everything is going CAD now. I cannot find work as an apprentice because of this but, I have "the bug" thanks in large part to your videos. I am learning what I can from the internet and practicing at home. Just wanted to say your works inspire me to learn. thank you
In the future, surely, a lot of production will take place through the use of CAD. Especially for mass production or for the production of simple objects to draw in 3D. For complex objects made of unique pieces, craft production, I think it will always have its own space. We often do not consider initial costs for production through CAD that are high and dependence on others in making jewelry. In artisanal production, the basic costs are almost irrelevant, almost no one depends on them and for the single objects the execution times are often lower. My advice is to learn all the techniques anyway, and to use from time to time the ones that guarantee you a greater possibility of expression.
Cjw i'm an goldsmith and yes i do nearly all my work on cad and 3d printing to stay competitive in my business . But learn the original trade often these cad designers have not spend a day on the bench and it shows in their designs often impractical and full of flaws often getting hidden by some camouflage work with later comes out by stones falling out rings bending etc.So try to get an old hand willing to teach you even if you don't earn much at first. It's worth it in the end. and good luck
This ring is magnificent! It also makes me proud to know that artisans like yourself try to inspire the young Individual to explore and expand their budding crafts as well, too many today forget the pride and brilliance of True Art and Skill!! Thank you for the video.
thanks to you, I agree, I hope that my videos will help to preserve the interest in an ancient profession and have it integrated with new technologies.
I am in awe of your beautiful artistry in this stunning ring ,it is beyond perfection and as I absolutely love dragons I am very envious of whoever gets to wear and own this gorgeous beast , thankyou for sharing your talent and hard work 😍🐉💍
Dude this is friggin incredible. This is an awesome piece. I must say it is truly impressive and inspiring. The fact that you made it entirely by hand is refreshing. I’m tired of clicking on videos of “Handmade” skull or dragon ring or something of the sort only to see it is casted. You have truly handmade an incredibly awesome ring. Thank you for sharing.
I must say a few years back i was a apprentice jeweller after seeing your videos im going to take up jewellery manufacturing again . your videos are so inspiring i love the fact you are a old school jeweller so refreshing to see in these days as its mainly cad. The ring is a masterpiece keep it up thank you for sharing your skills with us on here.
Wow! This is the third of your videos I watched. And I have to say I could not take my eyes off of the screen, held my breath at certain points that I know are interkal and complicated. Being a jeweler myself, of course not of the caliber that you are, I know all of the hours that go behind one of those five minutes segments. If I had to guess I would say you had over a hundred hours into that ring. It's one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. Especially being a hand fabricated piece of art. One of my Jewelers used to be the jeweler that made all of the rings for Liberace, and this reminds me a lot of the work that he did. He has passed on. Truly amazing, bravissimo. I was never even half this good I have a lot of respect. Great video. Thanks for sharing it.
I'm absolutely amazed at the Quality of your work !! Thanks so much for sharing this with us. I really appreciate artists like you who do amazing unique work !! Thanks again !!!

Wow, unbelievably beautiful. Amazing artistry and skill. I'm a novice and this is so far over my skill level, but it was incredible to watch his mastery.
I always thought most jewelry was made in laser cutters and and there wasn't much skill to it but I'm amazed at how much time and skill it takes. It's something I would really like to learn how to do. Thanks for taking the time to make this video.
Don't apologize for the length of the video. I'm sure it took yu eay longer than 51 minutes and 10 seconds to create this beautiful art work of jewelry! Your videos help me relax after a stressful day at work or after taking a test at school. Awesome creativity and you have great patience!!! You inspire myself and others with your videos!!!!
Your work never seizes to amaze me. I’m an aspiring jeweler and goldsmith after leaving my welding career to pursue it. What kind of solder do you use as the pieces progress on? Is it all hard solder, or do you step down gradually to medium and easy solder?
watching this video I've been in the jewelry business for almost 20 years now and as he's working on it in my head I'm thinking to my self I really hope he sets ruby's or some sort of stone in the eyes I love custom rings like this is hands down my type of ring
Wow, just wow, this level of work is at least at grandmaster craftsmanship. No lost wax, no 3d printer included, just raw strength for bending process and patiences. If the burnishing process using a burnishing pen, it will make a total 100% hand-crafted, but anyway, the shinier the better, since burnishing pen has a lot of weakness on small and detail parts of jewellery.
