When on a road trip 2 years ago, my daughter and I visited Manon's shop. I truly wish I lived closer, it is simply lovely. I haven't tried any of those yarns but I'm sure you will have two copy sweaters and your Dad will be so lucky to have a toque in that orange.

TH-cam has opened up a whole new world of knitting for me. Since June I’ve been knitting socks and finding so many beautiful sock yarns. I have never tried knitting with mohair and have always wanted to knit it double with something. It just looks so soft. It was fun to travel with you. thank you for your beautiful videos😊
I have knitted the Symbiose sweater by Marie-Christine Lévesque in Sandnes Garn Tynn Line held together with Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair and I absolutely love it! I will be using these yarns held together for another project because the result is gorgeous!
Hi Julie. I knit my son a hat in Double Sunday the hat is so squishy and the definition is amazing. I was also pleasantly surprised by the fingering Sunday yarn after blocking
I've been to the La Violette shop a couple of times and love it. She has some great samples in the store. I haven't used that yarn but did buy a couple balls for a friend as a gift.

I have never worked with mohair before because I was afraid it would make me itch, but I might have to make an exception cause the mohair you bought is gorgeous!
Thank you so much! I would definitely say buy 1 skein or see it in person before you purchase mohair incase your sensitive to it. A lot of makers offer a Suri Alpaca blend instead which is just INCREDIBLE and oh so SOFT!!

I have used Sandnes Garn Sisu yarn in the color 7212 for a pair of socks and I love it!
Ohh how did they wear overtime?! They’re an 80/20 blend so I’m assuming they would be great for socks ☺️
