I love squirrels. I name them all Trevor.
This is because I misheard information about them on a nature show and thought they said a group of squirrels was called a TREVOR. Husband convinced I’m going mad 🤪 .
That is hilarious!! My best friend is called Trevor and I’m never going to be able to forget that now 🤣🤣🤣 You’re so funny!
Such pretty yarns. I love cats and dogs. But I am totally fascinated by manatee. They are native to Florida and I try to spend time watching them every chance I get. I actually have a pattern to make one.

Hello lovely Alice! All of those yarns are the best! We have the same taste in colors, haha! The brighter, the better! That last beach one!!! Omg!!! Those colors make me want to buy yarn! @starlightandstitches Haha, yes!!! Rainbow queeeeeens! Did you know they have mini highland cows!?! I told my husband it would be just like having a big dog!!! :)

absolutely love the elements colourwave chunky, such amazing colours!!! ive also had the sunflower pretty petals in my basket for a while (since it looks like a cheaper alternative for the hayfield baby blossom) and i want to try it for knitting. but im also trying to buy less yarn this year since i buy a lot of hand dyed yarn too and it gets expensive very quick 🤣😅 also absolutely love birds!!! my favourite is probably the long tailed tit but honestly i love them all
I can’t wait to use that yarn- I’m not allowed to buy any more until I’ve used it 😄 My ex hubby is massively into birds! I learnt so much when we were together, he has some beautiful photography of birds as well (some got into magazines), so I have a love of birds I didn’t have when I was younger- my favourite is a magpie! 🥰

I get the ick with velvet- I used to work in a curtain shop and I literally would get goosebumps when someone wanted help with velvet fabrics 😄 we all have our things 😄 xx
The blossom is like the Sirdar Hayfield Baby Blossom, I think it possibly knits up better than it crochets. I love pandas, they’re not very bright but look as though they’re having the best time!

Hi Alice! Wow, some gorgeous yarn there. Very bright and cheerful. Why have I never heard of the knitting network? 🤔 I must check that out! I have used the wool warehouse several times, I do love an organza bag! 🤭If you look closely at your yarn bands, I think you will find a lot of brands, Sirdar, Stylecraft, James C Brett etc are “spun under licence in Turkey” now that really surprised me! I bought yarn today too …… I must stay away from Home Bargains. Though I do feel guilty, as we are lucky to have a lovely little wool shop just up the road, I do shop there for yarn for special projects. Favourite animal 🤔 hmmmmm, horses are amazing! So it seems turkey is the place to be if you’re a yarn lover!! I havnt got any decent yarn shops near me, we have a Hobbycraft a short bus ride away but I always leave there feeling disappointed (and they are SO expensive!!).
My mums favourite animal is a horse!! There’s a great pattern in the book ‘unicorns, dragons and more fantasy creatures 2’ which is for a unicorn but I just omitted the horn and it was a perfect little horse!!! I gave it to my mum 😊 ❤️❤️❤️
Knitting network is just the best, they have such great deals, their delivery is always super fast and they just have the best colours! I made a blanket with the elements panoramic recently but the DK weight version and it was probably one of my favourite yarns i've worked with, it was just a dream to stitch with and the way the colours blended together was fantastic. I love african painted dogs, i just think they have the most adorable big ears!!
That’s exactly why I keep their newsletter subscription- so many great deals all the time!!! And I’ve always found them reliable and the yarns are fab quality.

Love all the yarns you got! 😊 My favourite animal is probably a sloth at the moment. Although I tend to rotate haha! I also love elephants and rats and whales for instance 😋
Can’t beat a bag of pretty yarn!! My brother in law LOVES sloths- I made him a sloth cushion a few years ago for his birthday 😊 elephants also seem to be a popular choice and I LOVE rats! ❤️❤️❤️
My favorite domestic animal is a dog,my favorite animals to crochet are elephants and cats, my favorite wild animals are actually birds of prey (eagles, hawks, falcons)and I adore flamingoes and peacocks which I cross stitch to hang on my walls😊

Hello Lovely Alice! It's so fun to see your yarn hauls, those organza bags from wool wearhouse always catch my eye 😮. My favorite land animal is the beautiful elephant. I just love how all the females co-parent their little ones.
Elephants are BEAUTIFUL!! I often actually feel quite emotional when I watch videos of them, they’re just glorious (and when the babies play they are just the cutest!! ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Alice, so lovely to see your videos! Got a lot of catching up to do as I haven't had a chance to watch anything on TH-cam recently! Lovely yarn haul, it's so tempting as there's so many sales going on right now but I'm really cutting back on buying any yarn now 😅 I've recently discovered this lovely small Yarn company called Actually Yarn, their yarn is inexpensive compared to others and service is great 😊

I love giraffes.. unfortunately I can't find a cat flap big enough to own a giraffe. 😂

@@starlightandstitches they are the silliest pets, i love them so much! i have 2 girls (Honey and Ruby) and one boy (Sam). they have a big cage for sleeping, but are loose most of the day. and they sleep a lot 😄

Most of them are from the books ‘Amigurumi monsters’ or ‘Amigurumi monsters 2’! I’ve done book reviews on both books if you wanted to check them out 😊❤️
@@starlightandstitches I’ve just bought them and they arrived today, one more question, I’m going to use chenille so when you do them in chunky do you use a smaller hook than the yarn recommends x
@janerobinson9281 when you make amigurumi you should always use a hook size smaller that the yarn recommends- otherwise you’ll will end up with it a holey floppy piece instead of the structured outer layer you need! For example then I use James C Brett flutterby chunky yarn I usually use a size 4.5 hook instead of the 6mm they recommend on the yarn band!
