And it's time to give credit to one of the greatest directors of our time, Chris Nolan. It's really a shame that this man has never won an Oscar. So lovely to hear Cillian make a speech for once and funny he spends it praising other people other then himself😊 . I first saw Cillian when he was starting out in theatre in Galway. It was the play The Field and he was mesmerisingly good in it. I was thinking wow he's going to be really famous some day and I really regret having to leave to catch my bus back home that I didnt stay and try and meet him after. It was wonderful seeing him acting live on stage at least. All the best to him he deserves this recognition proud of you Cillian!

Then, of course, there are so many more amazing actors, with age you see them and they fill a part of your soul. I saw Cillian long before he played in Peaky Blinders and I knew back then that this is an impressive actor. And I am sure many of us were waiting for him to be globally recognized. This moment has come! I even have peace of mind now, because I do trust we can educate audiences with beauty and authenticity. 💖
To be honest, I’ve been a fan of Cillian’s work from his earliest movies. I’ve been waiting forever for him to be known - truly known - and to receive an Oscar. He is one of the greatest actors EVER, IMO. Not to mention (but I will) that he seems to be an incredible human being as well.

@@anuragsinghyadav492 Paul Giamatti has just won a "Critics Choice Award" which is usually a barometer how the Oscars will go. If Cillian does not get an Oscar it will be a travesty and sums up Hollywood.
Not to brag, but back in 2002 i saw 28 Days Later. I went back and saw it 2 more times in the theater and i said to myself "that dude is gonna win an Oscar someday."
