Beta blockers block adrenaline receptors. So, even though your body may be producing way too much adrenaline from anxiety, it can’t bind to the receptor cell, so you can’t feel the intense “rush” of adrenaline-induced anxiety. I take beta blockers to prevent migraines. I’m also a neuroscience professor.

I believe RDJ is a National Treasure. I’ve loved him since the 80s, a mere child in Back to School. He always stood out in whatever role he played. He was and is darling. I wanted him to win that Oscar for Chaplin. Like the Oscars for 87 movies, i couldn’t believe Michael Douglas won over John Malkovich when Malkovich was so much better than Michael playing Kirk. Not that Pacino wasn’t great but I remember RDJ more than Pacino’s performance. Let’s cross our fingers for Oppenheimer.❤❤❤😂

Scent of a woman one because the final speech was so damn good. I still remember that movie and I loved the way Pacino portrayed that roles and I believe it was his first win. Second was tropic thunder and that didn’t win because he was against Heath. Yeah he would have won any other year , he was just unlucky
