In my opinion - deviation of frequency will not quite big. You will not receive this transmitter on usual FM broadcat receiver - there must be narrow-band special FM receiver. Much better results may be acheived with couple of crystals with small difference of frequencies. I had two crystals with 6kHz difference and deviation was quite big for usual FM receiver.
The "I" in wind is pronounced as a short vowel when it's used as a noun. When it is a verb or an adjective the vowel is long like "eye" (as in winding, a the circular form, or to wind something onto that form (wined). For example transformers have primary and secondary windings (wine-dings) 😃

These types of circuits are also a great help in tuning radio receivers, once you know the exact frequency. Except here you opt for a very low output signal, not to broadcast too wide in your local area ...

The oscilator runs at 100mhz because of the 13mhz crystals 7th harmonic 😂 really glossed over that with no explanation 😅
