Ari’s Insight. The insight from working industry professionals is invaluable! Reminds me to stay focused on the MUSIC first instead of just seeking random sync placements.

This was a fabulous interview. I really like their vibes! They both seem very genuine and sweet. It makes me feel less intimidated about the idea of reaching out to sync companies.

Open question: Do music supervisors tend to seek out sync agents when they're looking for more song (w/ lyrics) oriented material?

Thanks for the video, Ari. Now I have a positive guitar song with a vocal. Do you know any good libraries for that style? Are there any libraries that only the chorus can be sent to (without other parts of song)?

    Thanks for posting! Great interview.
Maybe you addressed this and I missed it but I’m curious about timeline: I’m a music producer answering briefs with original music for commercials. When I see the deadline date, how long do they typically take to choose the song they want? The waiting game sucks and I just wanna know when I should give up on a particular brief. Especially it’s interesting to me when the due date is 10/16 but the the ad isn’t gonna run until March of 2024.

Potentially stupid question. I'm a multi-genre songwriter. Not crazy jumps like rap through death metal, but basically pop, country, rock, etc. Near the end, did Lyle and Kyra imply that's generally not what they look for? That they'd prefer artists with a consistent sound, ideally something they don't already have in their catalog?

So, it would be better if you release the music first to then send it through a DISCO link to them ?

Sounds like this business is rigged to the end of rigtivity and the small people are getting screwed.. you better have a side gig and a stock market account cause your ass will starve. Where is the artist union… whats next… doing a national commercial and you only get $115bucks
