Question of the Day ⚡Which tip do you think is most important? Let us know! 👇*** Learn the one TH-cam Strategy I Use That Generates 122,490+ Views Per Day here here 👉LearnVideo2023.com
Man so hard to choose but definitely being yourself, being authentic, transparent, and vulnerable. I think without that you can’t be consistent or put your audience first. That being said I really put limits around watching other creators in my niche because I thought it would hurt my focus and voice. Now I’m seeing I missed out on a huge connection component to being in the TH-cam space. It’s taken me 4 years to realize that. Glad to start forming stronger bonds in my community now.
Consistency in posting, energy, and presentation. These can be difficult and most non-creators don't know how much goes into even the simple 5 minute videos. You inspire us to keep going and getting better! Thanks for another great video!
Sean let me just tell you the you are my favorite content creator on TH-cam. I've watched you long enough to know what you stand for, what you believe in, and I resonate with you the value pack into each and every one of your videos is priceless!
Loved this video. I found your stuff after my channel had begun growing and I started to lean into learning how to harness the momentum and keep it going so I can reliably build things more and more every time I post content. Much of what you're saying I've been doing (professional musician here and many of the principles apply there too so I already had some practice), but it's so helpful to hear these put into perspective in regards to growing a TH-cam channel. I hit over a million views within about 4.5 months and went from no one watching to over 38,000 subscribers and it's growing reliably, and your tips are helping me continue that momentum without burning myself out. I know the right places to put pressure and the places to not kill myself over because of your information. Thank you for all you're putting out there. My journey to full time TH-camr is progressing more smoothly and quickly because of your knowledge. Thank you and God bless!
This might be my favorite podcast you’ve done. Coming from a full time TH-cam & video creator who’s been doing this full time almost 4 years, there is so much truth in every point you shared. Thanks for all you do Sean & Think media. You’ve played a huge part in my success, and I’m sure countless others!
2 things that really resonated with me... 1. not replying to comments. I am def not keeping up with that... especially on videos where i share my story and people share back and I could read the comment like a million times, but never reply. Or just the sheer amount of them coming in. I used to spend about 20 hours a week replying back, and that even didn't matter... it's just so overwhelming. Many people offered that i would hire someone for that, but that just feels wrong. I do have a community outside of TH-cam where I am more active on... 2. The beard. Well, I don't have one... But my hair. pink, blue, purple, gradient. I have been wanting to dye my hair black for a while now. In one video I mentioned something about my hair, with a comment of someone liking my content but is disgusted by my hair. Obviously, that is NOT why I wanna color my hair black now, but SOOOO many people commented that they love my hair, I should never change, that I inspired them to color their hair, or even their kids want hair like mine, and... How do you color to black after that ? I honestly felt so weirdly alone in this... so despite of ALL the amazing content and advice I get from you (binging you once a week with a notebook to take notes and plan)- THIS segment about the beard- hit home.
I just went back and thanked all of my commenters! Granted, I am just getting started and don't have many comments, but I really appreciated this reminder.
22:16 Honor…wow…my days devotional centered on honor beginning with the Lord by keeping His commandments but to my parents (both now deceased), my family, myself and others in word and deed. As a current VRA member I joined because of the integrity of Sean, Heather (miss her) Omar and everyone at THINK. I am honored and grateful to have teachers who live and teach congruently.
I just spent several months working with Sean -- and believe me, it's a game changer. Sean is like TH-cam Yoda -- listen to his advice because it works.
Sean, in reviewing my emails over several years, I found that I actually came into contact with you probably around 2016. I bought VRA in December of 2020, in part to try to get my disabled son interested in TH-cam. It didn't work (lol) but I have learned a lot from you and I will 66 years old this April. After my son died in November 2022 from unexpected cerebral strokes, I found myself in a daze, but watching you grow and watching Think Media grow has ministered to me. I want to say that in the last two years it has really been evident how you have grown in your ability to share your faith and spiritual truth and weave it into your podcasts. I've been in ministry as a pastor-teacher for over 40 years. Sometimes I think we've over-spiritualized some of the concepts taught in Scripture as if they don't apply to our present world, but they do. Thank you for sharing what you do. You are doing even more than you realize for the kingdom of God. May God continue to bless you, and your wife, and your children. Hold them all close while you have them near.
I stopped looking at my facebook comments a while back because I don’t have time to look through it. Sometimes looking at 1000 comments it gets overwhelming
Thanks for this message. As a new creator I’m constantly being told I seem “so natural” on camera. And my reply is finally I’m just being me. I get to be myself on TH-cam. I don’t have to put on an act or “face”. This is just my personality and character coming out. Man I love this. If I can do this full time, I sure would.
Truly appreciate all the helpful tips from you Sean! Been doing TH-cam for 8 months, 40 videos in, 415 subs, and have applied many of the tips from the Think Media channel. However, just started releasing shorts last week and am seeing immediate results.
Initially you don’t have enough of a dataset to go off of to figure out trends and patterns. It’s annoying when the data doesn’t give you the answers on a silver platter but only gives you small hints. 130 videos in and over a year running a channel just now do I have barley enough data to show me trends and know which way to go with more confidently. Just sharing my experience.
Shorts is my main focus for the next 6 months, it's easier for the viewer and you can get very creative as a creator 🤗 2023 is my year and everyone starting on TH-cam I wish you courage and all the best 🎉
Facts! Since I started creating content here on TH-cam, I no longer watch other content the same way as before. Now I see through every little cut in all videos here on TH-cam and I learn how to inculcate it into my videos. I’m not where I wanna be but I’m definitely on the right path. Thanks Think. 💙🙏🏾
Thanks! I love how on this podcast and in VRA you’re always pushing the message that we need to put the people first before money (influence first, income second, impact third). I absolutely can tell when a channel is giving me inauthentic vibes or desperation for sales. I appreciate you for creating a resource that helps content creators grow on TH-cam in a way that isn’t focused on going viral. I’ve been very happy with what I’ve learned from the course and your podcast and I’m still only in VRA foundations. I’m taking the slow and steady route and know that will serve me and my community better in the long run!
Thanks for the inspiration on a down day for me. My best takeaways - consistency isn’t just about a regular posting schedule, listen to my audience, putting my audience second (i.e. the people I’m trying to love and serve through my content). Oh, and saying “thank you”.
Thanks for all the INFO on your course... Would it REALLY help my KIDS Education Channel in South-Africa...???? It is a VERY unique niche👩🏫 And VERY expensive in ZAR.. But if I get LOADS of personal INFO... It could help to HELP👍Maybe You could send me more info if it will help me in THIS niche? NOT sure????
This was a powerful episode Sean! Think media is such an encouragement for my TH-cam journey! As someone who takes integrity so very seriously, it’s awesome to hear such an awesome creator speak about this.
I’m a wreath creator and teach others how to make them on TH-cam. There are a few different styles of wreaths, and floral wreaths are my passion; however, the videos that do best on my channel are mesh wreaths. So I’m going to listen to my audience and do more videos using mesh.
Thank you for your educational video Sean ❤❤❤ I learned a lot. The best what I learned is .. there is a fee../A LOT. 1. To be part of community. 2. Keep learning 3. I need to sign up for your academy and study TH-cam managing skills. 4. Steering.. I have a chanel with twelve thousand subscribers, however I really do not know what I am doing. 😢 I am working hard a big steering will, however… I need to have a good working engine. 5. Truly be our self’s it’s so appealing. 6. And you are right, thank you TH-cam for an opportunity! 🎉🎉😊😊 27:44
Thanks, Sean! I’ve been doing TH-cam for a year now thanks to tips from you & Gary Vee. I’ve applied many of your tips and I’m at almost 6k subscribers, I’ve created a course, and much more. So just thank you for these videos. I’ve been falling off and being inconsistent so I came back to get some motivation lol.
You really learned some of this from being a waiter! That may be like getting tips, put your customer first and serve them with out expectation. Great show!
I just want to say THANK YOU! There is a lot of great value in this video. I'm new to this channel and my first impression is amazing! You can tell you're truly passionate. Excited to go through your content, and learn your side of things. 💪
My live late night talk show is a great way for me to just sit back and chat with friends. I don't want to get paid from it, I don't want fame. It's essentially therapy for myself to get away from so much "what you need to do" content plastered all over the internet and just sit back and talk random fun stuff.
Thank you for the great advice! I found your channel my second week on TH-cam and started following your advice. I tripled all my goals a month early. So again thank you!
Some great tips, I've recently come back to TH-cam and have totally embraced shorts. I had some old videos when I wasn't really into TH-cam and now that I'm putting real effort into it my shorts have gained me 10 subs, not a lot I know, in less than a week. Major growth for a beginning small channel like mine.
Thank you Sean. I have watched your videos content since Nov. 2019. I do appreciate your authenticity and quality of the skill, knowledgeable & message that you have contributed to the world through TH-cam platform. Yes, you are doing great work and committing exactly what your why is. You are the only one that show me the truly walk and talk influencer. Congrats on your achievement and please continue to build the great content to the world. Yes, you did create a real community and I am here spending time to reply to you that you earn my respectfulness. Thank you.
Thanks Sean, my channel is geared toward Women Over 40 emerging from a long time illness or disability. So subjects are built around that. Which means they will be varied.
Definitely don’t sleep on YT shorts. I started to make one a day in march and I’ve gained some pretty good traction on my Izaiah Benoit channel. I know its not a big channel but it was a lot worse just a month ago. Thanks for the advice Sean!!🙌
@@ThinkMediaPodcast @ThinkMediaPodcast Wow.. you know our name's.. That's a first for a comment. Someone is definitely showing the love!! Nice job guys and gals of Think Media!!
Thanks Sean. I needed this one. I've been delaying going "all" in on shorts. But I need to be consistent to also add this into my strategy! I'm almost to 1500 subs thanks to the tips shared by you and the ThinkMedia Team. Thank you!
I can always count on coming to the Think media channel and getting inspired, educated, and motivated! Thank you for continuously providing value to us 🙌🏽
One of the things that I'm always sort of confused on is checking analytics on a video podcast. I started a podcast talking with voice actors from video games and usually they would get a lot less average view duration as compared to the length of the video. So should someone be concerned about the analytics especially watch time.
I really want to thank you so much for your words of encouragement, it really helped me this morning, thank you. Wishing you and your family a wonderful weekend:)
I actually reach out to my community, since they will know what content they want to see. I recently ran out of ideas for tips for first time cruisers. So I went onto Reddit, Cruise Critic, etc. and asked them what they wanted to see! Who would know better about what questions a first-time cruiser has better than a first-time cruiser? I'm currently wading my way through some of the lists I've been sent.
When I was younger I was a huge fan of a particular 80’s hair band. I bought every single album etc. I would have given anything to meet them. Fast forward many years later and I had the chance to meet them. I asked the drummer for his autograph and he told me no, but then turned to the girl next to me in the very low cut shirt, took the sharpie out of her hand and signed her chest. He never heard her ask me what his name was. She didn’t even know who he was. Anyway. I think about that all the time with my channel. I may not be a famous rockstar star, but my subs make my channel. Without them I’m nothing.
Thank you for some new inspiration. its super easy to get stuck and bogged down... pun intended (ya off road channel) I get really locked in the grind and forget to keep looking forward, but This needs to succeed and the only way I'm going to make that happen is to love on people and push out content for those people.
I love your content, it's already taught me a lot in my research to get my channel set up.... this video kind of set me on edge. Especially in the beginning. I'm not sure I can 100% pinpoint it, but it felt like so much of it was scripted and being read off a page, especially the first third of the video or so. But this also equally has taught me a lesson in making sure how I come across on camera is important at all times as well.
Thanks Sean appreciate the tips brother always good to hear your thoughts Question? If a creator reached 4.000 watch hours and are now able to start earning revenue will they have to maintain those watch hours every month in order to remain in the YPP? Thanks so much
I have heard about the shorts tip. But you have hammered it into my mind: need to post shorts! And love the tip about being authentic - makes a lot of sense. Thanks for all the tips.
Thanks for your help! I am just starting my TH-cam journey. I’m about to post my first real video. I may be overdoing it a bit, but want it to come out real nice, and for people to get value from it! I am a professional, Hitting Coach for baseball and softball and the topic I am talking about is what to do when you get cut, released or fired! I am definitel being vulnerable this video so good to hear that’s something people are looking for 😊. Thanks again!!
I found the most success of my TH-cam journey at the end of last year and beginning of this year. My goal in 2023 is to increase and improve my consistency. I would like to upload videos more frequently, but I also want to increase the consistency of my content and what viewers can expect from my channel.
Sean have any advice on how to handle too many comments? I get to as many as I can as well but impossible to get to all and the problem will just get worse as the channel grows
What do you do when your community and your analytics clash? For example, your community say they want you to do a specific series or cover a specific topic, but the analytics on that series/topic say that it's not a good fit for the channel? That's what I've found with my current Let's Play series - my community voted for it, but it's not getting hardly any views compared to my tutorials, guides, and news vids.

Sean have y’all made a video on how to tweak your microphone and camera settings to make them sound and look better even with a cheap setup
So far doing everything correct...but still views less...what to do 🤔
Planning and strategy
Consistency in posting, energy, and presentation. These can be difficult and most non-creators don't know how much goes into even the simple 5 minute videos. You inspire us to keep going and getting better!
Thanks for another great video!
Genuinely hope it doesn’t offend this guy or be taken the wrong way, but wow he has some beautiful eyes
Only hurt me as a child lol. I began to pluck my eyelashes because I didn’t want pretty eyelashes
God bless you!!!
Lol. He sure does.
Why isn't anyone talking about his hair !! God i need a hairdresser like his in my life !!!
Any man comfortable with their sexuality would take that as a complement
Right I was thinking that lol
Sean let me just tell you the you are my favorite content creator on TH-cam. I've watched you long enough to know what you stand for, what you believe in, and I resonate with you the value pack into each and every one of your videos is priceless!
Agree 💯
I love these 30 to 60 minute podcast videos. Feels like hanging out with a better future.
We appreciate you being here!

I feel like he is no act and that he is the real deal.
Yes
Sean, in reviewing my emails over several years, I found that I actually came into contact with you probably around 2016. I bought VRA in December of 2020, in part to try to get my disabled son interested in TH-cam. It didn't work (lol) but I have learned a lot from you and I will 66 years old this April.

Thanks! I love how on this podcast and in VRA you’re always pushing the message that we need to put the people first before money (influence first, income second, impact third). I absolutely can tell when a channel is giving me inauthentic vibes or desperation for sales. THE ONLY WAY 2 WIN IS 2 LEARN &&& THE BEST WAY 2 WIN IS LEARNING FASTER THAN EVERYBODY ELSE💯😮💨
Thanks for the inspiration on a down day for me. My best takeaways - consistency isn’t just about a regular posting schedule, listen to my audience, putting my audience second (i.e. the people I’m trying to love and serve through my content). Oh, and saying “thank you”.
I've been actively using your advice in my TH-cam videos and everyday life. Thank you so much for the value you provide in each video!
I try to listen to all your videos.... It helps sooo much. Slowly but steady my videos are spreading it's wings.🌍📚💖🤟

The shortest distance between two points is under construction.
This may be the most essential TH-cam advice I have heard to date. Thanks, Sean! I trust and value your insights.
This was a powerful episode Sean! Think media is such an encouragement for my TH-cam journey! As someone who takes integrity so very seriously, it’s awesome to hear such an awesome creator speak about this.

Can’t say enough how grateful and thankful I am as a creator for Think Media ! ❤
I ride my exercise bike in the morning and listen to Sean. It is the best way to start my day! Thanks bro!
Love to hear it! Thanks for being here!
I’m a wreath creator and teach others how to make them on TH-cam. There are a few different styles of wreaths, and floral wreaths are my passion; however, the videos that do best on my channel are mesh wreaths. So I’m going to listen to my audience and do more videos using mesh.
You deliver what you promise, always! Blessings
🙏
Thank you for your educational video Sean ❤❤❤
I learned a lot. The best what I learned is .. there is a fee../A LOT.
1. To be part of community. 2. Keep learning
Life long leaders is life long learners 👍💯
some good informative tips, like learning from others (particularly Ferris Webster / Joel Cox) / Gerry Anderson, and others very informative 30min+
Want to go full time one day. Need to work on my consistency, but not sure where I should land.
Consistency, that means a lot.
“Do for one what you wish you could do for all.” I already liked Think Media but Now that I’ve heard an Andy Stanley quote I’m sold!
Thank you!! Love it!!
Thanks Sean… great advice as always and I love the love bomb idea (as well as your gratitude bomb during this segment). Thank you!!!!
Thank you Sean, Thank you! 💪🏽 watched the entire thing on my lunch break. My boy is preaching! Love it
Thank YOU!
Its taking me years to build up the courage to be consistent! And you continue to lead me from afar. Thankful for you and the vra team 22:40
You could literally do a whole video on organization drift. I love that terminology. Because it's a real thing.
PREACH!!! i love love love the gratitude portion ESPECIALLY! I love your channel!!!
The beard comments had me chuckling. After 13 years of marriage…we’ve decided everything works better if I keep the beard.
I love when Sean talks to us this way! I know I needed it. Much appreciated Sean!🙏🏽🙏🏽
Yes! Me too! I absolutely love his encouragement.
You really learned some of this from being a waiter! That may be like getting tips, put your customer first and serve them with out expectation. Great show!
Ouch....you just read my mind...actually, planning to upload a cooking video of my mother...hahaha!!!
Dang man I didn't realize how legit and thoughtful you were.
I just want to say THANK YOU! There is a lot of great value in this video. I'm new to this channel and my first impression is amazing! You can tell you're truly passionate. Excited to go through your content, and learn your side of things. 💪
Well ya know what Sean? Thank YOU and your team for helping us keep our compass focused on the why, the impact and mindset necessary for our futures!🙏
This is spot on. Thank you
Those are some solid tips Sean! Thanks for putting this together.
My live late night talk show is a great way for me to just sit back and chat with friends. I don't want to get paid from it, I don't want fame. It's essentially therapy for myself to get away from so much "what you need to do" content plastered all over the internet and just sit back and talk random fun stuff.
💯 🎯 powerful - thank you!
Good work as usual. 🙏🏽
Thank you for the great advice! I found your channel my second week on TH-cam and started following your advice. I tripled all my goals a month early. So again thank you!
If you fail to plan,
You plan to fail!
I can't wait to get to my final destination!
Wow, did he just give out my address?! 😭
Always get a dose of motivation from think media podcast. That's the consistency for me. Thanks Sean. Lots of gratitude.

What great tips. It was a little preachy.. but sometimes we need that. Thank You !!
Appreciate the honest feedback. Appreciate you Darrell and Nicole!
Thank you!
Found this video while searching for ways to grow a TH-cam channel.. Thank you for the tips and advices.. I just started a TH-cam channel myself too..
Thank you Shawn. great value.... as usual
Glad you enjoyed it
The advice about the shorts was priceless. I noticed after I watched this video and started doing more shorts, my subscribers started to increase.
I really appreciate all your advice and wisdom. I feel like some day some way, I'll be making some decent income.
You knocked it out with this video. Strong 9 :)). Great inspiration to re-engage.
Great thoughts. Thank you for sharing. I think the authenticity piece is going to be key moving forward and I'm very much glad that is the case.
Thanks Sean appreciate the tips brother always good to hear your thoughts
Question? If a creator reached 4.000 watch hours and are now able to start earning revenue will they have to maintain those watch hours every month in order to remain in the YPP?
Thanks so much
No, you don't. Once you meet the initial requirement you're all set. And very likely you'll see your watch hours increase anyway!
@@MultipleCareers Thank you so much was not sure seeing TH-cam is always changing the platform much appreciated
Rock the beard, Sean! ;) Love what you're saying about Consistency! Great points!
I have heard about the shorts tip. But you have hammered it into my mind: need to post shorts! And love the tip about being authentic - makes a lot of sense. Thanks for all the tips.
Favorite podcast. Great information. Be consistent material was the most important for me today. Tnx Sean
Another great video 👏
Thank you for showing the power of gratitude ❤
You are great at delivering the message ❤
"No one is self made." Good word!
Me just doing me and showing my creative outlet has shown that people are attracted to me more! Thank you so much
Sean have any advice on how to handle too many comments? I get to as many as I can as well but impossible to get to all and the problem will just get worse as the channel grows
It's not just a consistent, you need a record of thorough knowledge and skills Thank you for sharing this video think Media
I loved this video & the realism within it! Thanks so much for being so direct and awesome in this as these r things so many creators need to hear!
Glad you liked it!!
Thank you for those hardcore truths. You're a blessing to newbies like me, tough love is all we need.
This is why I love watching the videos! Thank you so much and your beard is awesome!
