Casares and Herrera Are the generator of the machine, Burton C. Bell was a soul!!!........dude, i miss those years Man, You couldnt beleve, i will give anything to play bass with them..... just one song.......
Love your videos man.. ELITE LEVEL Production and playing. (plus you help me learn how to play them Quickly without having to READ TAB or listen to the cd over and over) Surely that was your intention lol Thanks again!! LOVE IT,
First video Ive seen of yours and it was perfect. I think you nailed the tone down really well, and love what your wearing too. Idk why, but its like your a secret badass haha wearing a suit and being able to play Fear Factory in your spare time. Please let me know what kind of effects you used if you remember, I haven't been able to find a video to explain how to get FF sound. Yours sounded really spot on, if not perfect. Definitely great enough to play out with if I had to. I'm gonna sub Stay safe brother ✌️† 🎸
@@loza0460 Ha ok :D I'm quite impressed, your playing is spot-on but also your tone is so close to the original. I've got a schecter with 7 strings and active EMGs. I just wish I could get my tone so close to the original :')
thanks mate. i think it has to do with mixing too, i don't have my guitar too loud in the mix so it blends in with the original better, i definitely don't have the tone down exactly or anything.
I think the main riff is not with pinky on the C strings. The first is a G power chord (D string 5th note, G string 7th note). Then use the ring finger D string 7th and pinky stays on G string 7th. Then the same pattern on the F power chord. Check this live: th-cam.com/video/oTWEMWbAlR4/w-d-xo.htmlm35s Dino uses really cool the harmonics on the 7th fret in this live video in the chorus riff at 2min 56 sec
Dino uses that pattern on a lot of songs, and live he plays it like you say to and i used to play it that way too, but on the record if you listen closely it sounds like it's actually on the C string, as it sounds an octave higher than the way dino plays it live. dino changes a lot of riffs live tbh, and i don't blame him as it's much harder to play when you're headbanging like that lol.
yea that could be it, the same as there is two different guitar parts in the scumgrief chorus. i played both guitar parts in the chorus but it's a little hard to make out in the video
Hey what strings do you use? I just got my first 7 string and the strings that it came with are loosy goosy in a standard. It's brand new but will I also have to intonate it and set the string height and action for going down this low? Please I'd appreciate the feedback!
@@loza0460 OK thanks also what model ibanez is that? I like the active pickups. I bought a cheap gio ibanez just to see if I would actually be playing a lot and I've been playing constantly so i want to upgrade. I bought a peavey viper pro 100 and a precision drive and holy hell the distortion on this amp is just as heavy as I wanted it to be! Thanks! I've been learning ff from you but after learning a song or two I've been able to do a lot by ear now since dino uses the same chords at least on obsolete plus all the songs in this album are in a standard.

>"Resurrection" by Fear Factory.
I see what you've done.
THERE IS JUST SOMETHING REALLY AMAZING ABOUT 7 STRING IBANEZ GUITARS ESPECIALLY 7 STRING AND 8 STRINGS 🤘
Hands down the best cover I’ve seen of this song… Amazing the end riff hits the fucking soul every time ✅✅🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘✅✅
Obsolete was one of my first metal records and I love it. This is the best song off that record imo. Well bloody played mate! \m/
thanks dude, i recognise your name from sputnik, good to see some sputbros on here!
@@loza0460 also good to see that we have some competent axe wielders amongst the sput crowd too
I haven't heard this theme tune in 25+ years. Sweet, sweeeeeeeet memories

Thank you for jamming man
Excelente interpretación. Gracias por compartir 🤘🤘
Class dude!!!! 😎
How do you nail the sound so perfectly???
Thats so awesome!
i have quite a similar guitar to what dino used on this record, both ibanez 7 strings with active EMG pickups. thanks!

I think there are more guitar tracks in their studio sounds. Maybe there's a guitar in a higher range. Like with the harmonics on the chorus riff.

just standard 10-59 mate IIRC, been a while lol

@@terry85mar Yes, i remember he is saying that model.
Thought this song was fitting :P
What effects did you use amp etc.
Hey, what would you recommend to a beginner as a first 7 stringer guitar? I am looking at getting one!
Ltd
What is your Rig ?
Monetize ur account homie, im exposing the fuck outta you you deserve to be a big name with such dedication and talent my friend
01:40 ur missing some of the notes in the background that ur not hitting..it's a good cover..maybe it's one those need a 2nd guitar things
i do hit those ringing notes actually, look carefully at my picking hand
He does hit them. You can see in his picking and the finger adjustment.
The studio version is multitracked obviously. I think this cover, the tone, the picking and fingering is miles ahead of most out here. Great job.
