Kid, you fucking nailed it. Congrats. That shit is hard to do. A lot of under-21 year olds will claim they can handle song that are more "easy" than Fear Factory songs but they fucking blow it. It takes genuine rhythm skills to nail this shit and you fuckin' did it. Feel proud because you pulled it off..
yea fear factory songs may seem simple to learn, but mastering them is a different story, it took me a long time to become tight with these songs. thanks for the kind words bro
Man i have to agree, dino was a real dick for that one lol i literally was curious on how to play it, "man i bet this would be fun and quick", then i saw those fingers and i realized i stepped in some shit lol but you absolutely NAILED IT. Hell i was watching the 98' bizarre fest and even dino himself had a lil trouble keeping up with the riff HE wrote lol this is spot on! 🤘🤘
Man I don't know if you used a tab or learned it by ear but it sounds spot on with the original. If it's a tab please send me the link because I want to learn it and I will for sure use your video as a great reference to learn all the intricate picking. So big thanks !
He said he does use EMG active pickups in another video comment I read. I found this guitar online and it looks close Ibanez Iron Label 7 String with EMG Active Pickups That guitar I think is close to what he uses, but I don't know exactly
Man I've been learning this song from this video and I can play each section of the song perfectly I just can't play it all at once. My forearm is extremely wore out before I can even get to the chorus. Any tips on how to build that strength? Or do I just need to keep playing the song over and over until I make progress?
What type of Ibanez are you using on most of these videos? You absolutely NAIL these riffs and his tone(near impossible accomplishment) better than anyone i have seen cover them, and i have seen them ALL, lol.
Ibanez Iron Label 7 String with EMG Active Pickups I think it's this one, but I'm not 100% on that. I just asked him in another video waiting on a response. He really nailed the sound, it's amazing.
@@47ravenlord you are most welcome. Any 7 String with those pickups should be fine. I hope you find what you are looking for and master the songs you want to. Stay safe ✌️† 🎸
Run a BOSS MT-2 into a Marshall Poweramp or FX loop of a head. Lows below 12, treble depending on your amp/pickups/speaker to get enough bite, I have a dark speaker and it's up 3/4. The trick is in the powerful mid EQ. Set the frequency between quarter 1/4 and 12oclock and then scoop out ALL of those mids (you're hitting lower Mids here and it's not the same as losing a ton of high Mids or simply turning down an amps mid knob and thus doesn't get muddy). Set the level between 12oclock and 3/4 of the way (for some reason at full level the pedal, or at least mine, goes darker) and lastly the gain somewhere around 12oclock again depending on how hot your pickups are. I've got Lundgren Black Heaven. This is absolutely instant Fear Factory Obsolete tone

Jesus christ bro you destroyed it. Fear factory songs are way harder than people think. Their rhythms can be so tricky! Great job man!!
This band was always so good at sounding like machinery.
Great job I wanna learn this
Finally got back from personal business to sit down and check this out.

Good stuff! BIG LIKE! Greetings from Hungary!
Good timing and sound, man
Amazing cover, like all of your Fear Factory covers. Killer man. It looks so easy when you play it, but we all know it is not!!

Cool! What string gauge for A?
Maybe 52/54 for the low A. That’s what Dino used for this tuning.
Perfect
