Hello everyone. Thanks for watching this video on the ribs I use during my grilling cooks. The drawing for the 100th subscriber giveaway has ended. I plan to do another giveaway once we reach 200.
The Williams Rib Tickler profile is what I like, but they are all good rubs. Congrats on hitting the first 100 subs; I'm sure that number will continue to increase.
Russyl Royer Thanks for the vote of confidence Russell! The Rib Tickler is an awesome rub. I appreciate your support of my channel. I’ll video the drawing live next week, good luck!
Thank you so much. This was just what I needed to try some of the best bbq seasonings. I will take your advice and let you know how things turn out. This was so helpful since all I had to work with was Salt and Pepper, lol
I will order the John Henry rub but curious on The Rub. Might try that also.. I like trying new rubs not big on sweet ones but liked your overview. Thanks Gary
I’m 3 years late lol I’m using john Henry bourbon rub seasoning on this thanksgiving turkey 2021 lol happy thanksgiving to you all from the Pacific Northwest
When i was watching i remembered i had a bottle of John Henry's rub in my pantry. I went and looked and it was the Jalapeno Rub but i have no idea where it came from. Can't wait to try it. Keep Rockin!!!!!
On the meat church it's definitively the profile. Texas Brisket is salt and pepper only. Texans love their pepper. So it was for sure an intentional design since they are from Texas.
Absolutely. Makes sense. Definitely perfect for Texas Style brisket. I used it on a roast that I cooked in a crockpot and it came out great! Thanks for checking out the video.
High Darlene, I can name a few. 1.John Henry’s “Pecan Rub” 2. It’s Incredible by Heaven made products. 3. Uncle Steve’s Shake “Original Blend.” These came to mind but there are plenty more to choose from. Oh yeah, one more..Rufus Teague “Chicken Rub.” Have a great Memorial Day.
Great reviews but I have one question of your top four rib rubs in order off sweetness from the sweetest down also one that is less salty or most balanced
rlcarr Carr Great question. Please see my response. Sweetest down: 1. Williams Rib Tickler 2. The BBQ Rub 3. John Henry’s 4. The Rub. Most Balanced and less Salty. 1. The Rub 2. John Henry’s (The BBQ Rub and Williams Rib Tickler are by know means salty, but from a balance standpoint I chose The Rub and John Henry’s. Hope this helps.
I like the killer hogs I love that stuff and the John Henry was the first rub I ever used. But I moved on because there was so many ones just out matched it.
I use each of the 3 rubs a the main seasoning only. In most cases I will add a base coat of "the it's incredible" by heavenmade products. Hope this helps Chris!
Dski Grillz - Just found your channel and subscribed. I have never heard of the John Henry's until just the other day. I was told it was awesome, now you say it as well I guess I will have to get some. When you use that on Ribs or anything else - Do you put anything as a base rub or just the John Henry's ?
John Henry’s is great all by itself Dave. Welcome to the channel. Thanks for subscribing. I’m putting out another video on my favorite BBQ rubs for 2022. Be on the lookout. Thanks.
Great video. I love the John Henry’s Pecan and the Killer Hogs rubs. Just subscribed. Also, I am buying the Williams Rib Tickler off your recommendation
Stephane Beland Thanks for checking out the videos as always Stephane. You can’t go wrong with the BBQ Rub, great choice. I will post the drawing live next week, good luck!
I have all these the Williams rib tickler is the best rub of them all. You can’t even buy it anymore they are selling on amazon do 60 dollars it so good
2steps69 I noticed the same thing when ordering from Texas. The shipping cost is a killer. I will upload soon a video on sauces. Do you already have a favorite? I would like to add it to the review as well. Let me know. Thanks
You are the winner!!! Congratulations!! Please provide me with your shipping address and I will ship the AP Rub to you right away. My email address is dskigrillz@gmail.com. Congrats again!
You need to try Heath Riles rubs. He has won many championships for barbecuing! I just reordered for Thanksgiving ribs.😁 Love his Pecan, Barbecue and just ordered his honey ribs. They are great on ribs and even Porkchops. Buy it from his website, way cheaper than buying it from Amazon. 😘
Hi Darren - At the time i wasn’t introduced to heaven made products, “It’s Incredible “ all purpose. I have to say that it is number #1 on my list. There are many spa rubs that are great for use as an all purpose but that is definitely my choice. Hope this helps.
Tommy Jackson Thanks for watching Tommy. Fun and Feathers is awesome on Fish and great on Chicken. Good luck on the drawing. I will post it live on Saturday.
Michael Pruden Great choice Michael! The BBQ Rub is one of my favorites. Good luck on the drawing this Saturday! Check back on Saturday to see if you’ve won. Thanks for watching.
The best rub on the planet is by Heaven Made Products: It's Incredible. The most videoed and most talked about seasoning EVER on TH-cam. Their Texas Best Brisket Rub is hands down better than GQUE BBQ "The Rub". Check em out you won't be disappointed.
Michael Pitre Hey Michael. Thanks for sharing your experience with Heaven Made Products. I love trying out new rubs and will definitely give this a shot right away. Thanks for checking out the video.
Hi Michael. I just order It’s Incredible and the Texas Best Brisket Rub. I will make sure to do a review and cook on both..can’t wait!! Thanks again for the feedback.
@@DskiGrillz What name, I want to throw in something extra for you to try. Text my phone or email me from the website we are heading to Louisiana and won't be back until Sunday. We won't be able to ship any orders until sometime around Wednesday, we received so many orders we ran out of lids, we just got new Distributors in the UK and New Zealand, and several store orders came in plus all of our customers.
Michael Pitre I just emailed you with my name on your website. Congrats on the problem you are having with running out of lids to meet orders. This is a great problem to have!!! It means you are definitely doing something right with the products you are selling. Have a safe trip. I look forward to trying out and reviewing all you have to offer! Have a good weekend.
I'm # 177 a year later or so...so I don't count. I debated with myself whether to add a comment or not. ...obviously I'm choosing to comment...a way too long one I'm sure....for that I apologise. First, I really liked your presentation...I mean that sincerely. Second....I totally agree with you about John Henry's Pecan Rub, It's probably the best esp for Brisket. The only problem I had was you presented or talked about a steak rub. I suspect, like you we're smoke guys and rubs are usually essential...I get that, Where I disagree is with the idea of a "steak rub." I guess, if you're buying some lesser quality steaks from the grocery store then a steak rub might be helpful...but going out to dinner, and spending $50 to $100 for a steak, if they put a rub on it I would probably throw it on the floor and ask for my money back! Joking of course, however, I found a great steak should never have a rub except maybe salt, pepper, and butter..IMO a rub for a good steak is a waste of money for the meat and the rub. Instead I would just suggest buying a choice cut from the grocery.and throw anything you want on it....But if you are buying or paying for USDA Prime Aged beef...leave it alone except maybe for butter, and sometimes salt, and pepper. I just finished a 2 year BBQ Comp tour of the U.S. (Never try to do this because there are BBQ Comps literally in every county in America! instead...go to the regionals or nationals bc there are just far too many competitions)....That aside...not one steak house I went to in the country won a steak comp with a rub! Trust your grill, trust your skill unless you're trying to dress up a poor cut of meat then I say...go for it! The biggest problem I see for all these rubs for steaks, chicken, pork, or fish is that a lot depends upon your bias coming in...meaning what part of the country you're from.or what you were raised with, or expect.. Pecan, either rubs or wood smoke, are pretty standardized across the country...usually not a lot of flack except with the Cherry or Apple smoke ppl....also I doubt it would sell well t in Santa Maria, California for example where Red Oak is King of the Tri-tip. ., and you'll never sell someone from NC vs SC about the right rub, let alone Texas and K.C. Different strokes for different folks. I do respect and appreciate your opinion and will stick with my John Henry's. Just remember when you're comparing...to take in the whole rest of the nation of us BBQ nuts! I'm not an expert but then again...I don't know anything about art either but I do know what I like.
I have just stepped my rub game up... I never realized how big of a difference a great rub will improve the flavor profile of meat. Great video
Nobody is messing with HEATH RILES RUBS !!! 1000% Scrumptious !!! Hands down .
Heath Riles is definitely delicious!!!! I agree!

Stefan Skala Thanks for the comment Stefan. The pecan rub is hands down one of my favorites. Thanks for Watching.
One bottle of rub can do ten or twelve slabs of ribs, and those are 12 ounces. You're going to need around 70 slabs of ribs for that bag.
If not 75.
(depending how heavy you go on dusting and cut of ribs)
How about a video on bbq sauces ?? That GQUE the rub twice the price if I order it online. I'm in Florida.
