Knowledge is an ever evolving thing. What's considered true today may not be in 10 years.
There are limits to human understanding. And even those limits can change. Germ theory is an excellent example of how knowledge evolves.
The problem becomes those that refuse to change the way they understand things. And there isn't much we can do about them.

Right? It's insane how things that were considered "true" have been completely debunked or at least questioned by developments in our knowledge and tools to get such knowledge. Probably even my high school textbooks from a few years ago will contain things that are not considered truthful or relevant anymore (and of course elementary and high school educational material being partially simplified for a younger audience).
And exactly! Those who refuse to change and expand their understanding of things are what's holding us back. Like the people screaming about "basic biology" because they're refusing to acknowledge "advanced biology" 😅
