Pete, do you have something against rye grass? You seem to only focus on TTTF and KBG
I have nothing against rye...its gorgeous! Matter a fact I will show it to you all winter long when i over seed my bermuda with it...People just do not use it around here...gets WAY too HOT!
GCI Turf Services why do people use different grass seed at different times ? Why you overseeding with Rye in the winter ? And when do you revert back to your Bermuda?
ChristianW so it is important to mix the two ? For example I’m in the transition zone is it’s better for me to mix Bermuda with his blue heat.

Marvin Mensah it’s all personal preference BUT the seed you choose has to do well where you live.

Hey Pete I can't wait to get my seed and over seed this fall with it and I definitely will be getting some of the turfmend also I think with being a Great Dane owner it's a must. Because when they run they can punish a lawn haha😆😆 but keep on doing what you are doing love all the info you share, how you teach all of us something every single video whether it be grass or about the gospel. Can’t believe I missed this video last month. Pete, you are a very humble man that stands behind his products. Literally lol for that I thank you sir. Love your tall fescue and can’t wait to get the cool blue and heat wave. Not much Bermuda here in Hollister Ca. We just don’t get that hot only maybe 1-2 months a year.
We test a few different seeds last year, this year we are only using your fescue for our overseeding projects. Can’t wait to see all our happy clients in a few months.

Hey Pete! I don’t usually comment, but I do watch and like every video! I’ve been watching a lot of your videos the past couple of months because I have been kind of renovating my mom’s yard for her. Love seeing the renovation for the plot at your office. Your videos are great and I look forward to a time where I can order GCI Turf Grass Seed! I've been watching your channel for a while now, I really like your videos you give some good info. I'm going to go buy a bag of that tall fescue and if it preforms good on my yard, I may end up buying some in bulk from you and using it in my business. And btw for anyone considering the tttf or cool blue... I did a mini renovation with the tttf last year and it is by far the best performing part of my lawn.. I am in nj with some full shade and full sun, great grass!!

Hey Chris. I'm in Northern Virginia and you will love the GCI tttf. If you're into grass, the difference is obvious immediately but give it the best care you can.
Planted your tall fescue seed this spring, and it is absolutely gorgeous. With good watering it's even surviving this hot California summer. Planning to purchase some of your KBG for my in-law's yard

Pete, I had been struggling to get a thick stand of KBG surrounding my backyard putting green. I bought myself a 25lb bag of Blue Heat in early August, planted roughly 3 weeks ago, and I've had such success it's beautiful. I have irrigation that runs on my putting green and the surrounding area so watering is easy. I used a Lesco greens grade starter fertilizer, 12-24-18, and it popped quick. Come spring I'll send you a picture. You may be memorized by the 1/8" bentgrass but the KBG will be the star! Thank you so much for everything. God bless you and your family. Love the channel.

N Minn here Pete. First frost in 5-6 weeks. I aerated tonight after a scalp job. Tomorrow night I lay down my new bag of GCI TTTF! Excited to see germination before the frost. Going to top dress problem areas with some peat. Plan on laying starter fert in a week.

Just bought 2 bags of the COOL BLUE #50. Never tried this seed before but I am excited. I have always used Big Box brands of sees with mixed results. Lots of weeds and Bermuda grass which look patchy and out of place in Minnesota.Thanks Pete!
