7 Lakes Hike, Cusco, Peru 🇵🇪

The 7 Lakes (Lagunas) hike near Cusco, Peru. This is one of the best hikes you can do in the Cusco region. While many people trek near Machu Picchu the Siete Lagunas hike is a gem. This hike takes you by glacial lakes, hundreds of alpacas, and you get to see local people living high in the Andes Mountains.
The hikes starts and finishes from the little village of Pacchanta and we hired a driver to take us out and spend the day with us.
Our loop=13 miles, 3,000 feet elevation gain.

Hello. How to get to the 7 lakes from Cusco? Is this a one day trip or you have to sleep somewhere? Also is the driver your guide too? Love the video. We are planning to visit Peru, and this video is amazing.

Glad you enjoyed the video! You could rent a car or get a car and driver which is what we did. We spent the night in a small hotel near area near Rainbow Mountain to do this hike the following day.

The number you have for Cesar says he doesn't do the 7 Lakes, he does Rainbow Mountain. Also, in your video, the driver has a different name.
