About the bic lighter - For lighting alcohol stoves, there is a solution a lot of people don't know about that should honestly be "required reading" for lighting alcohol stoves. That is, to light an alcohol stove, dip a twig/stick into the alcohol, light the twig, then use the twig to light the stove. Problem solved. Every time. :)
I have a suspicion on the leaking fuel bottle from litesmith (though I don't own one): Is the top lid only compression fit with no o-ring? If so you have to clamp these down pretty hard when you tighten them. The CNOC threads are like this - they will drip a little if you don't screw the cap down pretty hard. My guess is they maybe couldn't use rubber o-rings because they could degrade with fuel.
For the alcohol I use Trangia bottles. They’re made of tough polythene plastic and do not leak. I use the smallest at 300ml. With it I use a small medicinal thimble cup that measures my fuel adequately. When I plan a trip and meals I measure the amount I’ll need plus 1 oz. 😊If you watch Eric Normark you’ll know what I mean about Trangia gear.😊
Hey Andy! You can waterproof the liquid reservoir by adding a silicon gasket maker like the Permatex Type-1 RTV Silicone Gasket Maker or J-B Weld 31316 RTV Silicone Gasket Maker. Leukotape on the reservoir👌Love your content! Andy>Kevin 😆All jokes aside, I can say this because I have a brother too! Would love to go hiking with y'all sometime (Bring Dad)!
I posit that we make a drinking game, whenever Andy says "in my opinion" we take a shot! Who's with me? I know why he's doing it, lets be honest people are stupid( ie, there's people who won't understand that), But still, drinking game! Love the vid guys, keep doin what you do!
"I'll never be able to amputate someone's arm with this." Not with that attitude...

What happened to the pod cast and why no more live shows?
I tried the folding spoons and cut some down. But the long handle spoon is where it’s at for me.

I did a double take with the mypillow comment.
Opinel No 2 is lighter weight and handles better IMHO than a dermasafe razor blade.
