Confuse them with numbers then anyone of them can summon and use the hammer, the mouse with the clearest shot. This is head cannon, but I bet they use their divinity to enhance their teeth and claws while attacking, that's why they glow bright yellow bite and claw marks after each melee attack.
Alright, so iirc they’re not actually Daikokuten himself, but his maids. That being said, their NP’s true nature is actually just making more of them. As long as there are two of them, and the master can continue supplying magical energy, the flood of mice will never end. They’re all weak because lol mice, but when you’re getting swarmed by six to ten of them at a time that matters a little less. They can also make underground territories that can be used for various purposes (small magecraft workshops, traps, escape tunnels) and have access to the treasures of Daikokuten, including his magical hammer that superbuffs whoever it hits temporarily. Think of them as like hundred face but they trade the presence concealment for magical treasures and a generally truly infinite number of themselves as opposed to just 100

Just a slight correction but from the few raw translations the maximum number of "mices" is 30 and that's just when using their NP when their propagation ability peaks. But, just for the sake of it, we could say this is just because of Ritsuka's magical energy not allowing more mices being summoned at the same time while LWM presents us a better (and comical) scenario of the mices being able to actually constantly grow in number without virtual limit.

There is no actual hard limit to how many there can be besides how much magical energy their master has. And the MC notoriously has crap magical circuits so 30 every now and then is pretty good already.
This might be, no joke, a budget Castoria to the Skadi system, their skills alone are quite good to help other Quick farmers do their thing. Perhaps not to the degree Castoria enables Arts, but I do hope people explore them and their potential for Skadi farming because it's most definitely there. Edit: Sure enough, they can be easily plugsuited after giving their effects to the farmer, 30% NP gain and 10% gauge per turn every end of turn is massive for farming, they may not supply Quick buffs to the party but I feel like this is way more important, especially since Skadi provides neither of those things. And this is without mentioning they themselves are horrifyingly good farmers as well if you're willing to go NP2+ and maybe 1k silver fous because their ATK stat is still lacking to farm outside of assassins.

If we are just talking about quick looping support both Asclepius and Summer Da Vinci Lily does same or better and one is a 3 star while other is a wellfare so they are both easily obtainable. . In a 3 turn set up 10% per turn is basically just 20% charge that's split. Both DaVinci and Asclepius gives 20% charge and 30% NP gain with Asclepius having lesser cost and Da Vinci Lily providing more damage and refund. Only thing I say they have over them is their charge being split and their ability to support more allies though Asclepius can do the latter as well. And their charge being split is only situationally better. They are good supports but nothing exceptional especially among looping supports.

I did say "budget Castoria", not Castoria outright, they still offer a good chunk of commodities for some farmers, it's not a one size fits all situation, but it can certainly help some smoothen their farming out. Or... simply farm with them too, damage becomes a non-issue after NP2.

Story banner doesn't go anywhere so as long as they cleared LB4 they can always roll for him. Whatever they get him depends on player luck but that doesn't change the fact that he is always available to roll. CBC and Class banners are also a thing so players still have frequent better options to roll for him. And let's say a player doesn't get Da Vinci lily and doesn't want to roll for Asclepius. They still have the option to pick Waver with 6th Anniversary SSR ticket. And if they didn't pick him that's their own problem. It doesn't change the fact that they always had the option to pick him. Lastly you said they can help by clearing a wave. No, they can't. Their damage suck and NP2 doesn't help much. At NP2 they barely hit 20k neutral damage without niche. So without heavily investing in them or helping them with event CEs or allies, they won't clear anything without class advantage. Heavily investing in them like high NP level would contradict them being budget, not every event has damage CEs and not each one has starting charge so with Skadi's single ally charge, they won't always get enough charge to NP. And except a few, most Quick loopers have selfish kits so they wont help Daikokuten's damage, Skadi herself only has party wide defense down for supporting multiple allies and you mostly would use that on your main DPS's NP turn so you don't have any easy ways to help their damage. So you won't use them in class neutral. And in classes they have class advantage against you are much better of using themselves as your main looper as they are solid loopers and fixing their damage as primary DPS is easier than as secondary DPS.
Revisiting this, I still mostly stand by what I said, also pretty suspect that this first half of the year we get so many ridiculously strong Quick servants, hopefully this means we get our new Quick support this anniv to make what they can do a more consistent reality for others like them (...and help their anemic damage).
The name "Land of the Rats" couple with that NP animation and this is now stuck in my head: "Rats, rats, we are the rats..." But for real though, these rats are actually the new budget Quick Merlin support. Party wide 1-proc Evade, NP Gain rate, NP per turn, HP Regen, Stars per turn, Crit strength up, and Quick resist down for enemies. Everyone know rats throw the best parties.

well...Lasengle had to nerf them somehow after giving them an AOE NP and a np battery along with charge per turn. But I kinda agree that having 8,000 atk is a hell of a nerf.

Unless you are farming enemies with the Human trait, Skadi deals more damage and requires just as much setup (ie, kscope on your DPS, way better if it's mlb). Skadi farming has the most trouble with 3/2/X nodes (which Koyanskaya reload comps do not have problems with), and nodes where wave 2 has a high HP mini boss (usually some monster that doesn't have the human trait, so Koyanskaya farming struggles more with that). Also, the list of koyanskaya-compatible servants that don't require Atlas MC is extremely low, and the moment you lock in that MC, you lose the DPS advantage over Skadi even against human enemies. The main advantage of Koyanskaya is ignoring enemy counts and being able to farm using casters and sabers (classes that Skadi comps can't effectively field).
