Great content! FYI, when using the dremel on carbon, put a fan or vacuum where you are cutting to remove the material. If the material builds up in the air too much around the dremel it’ll kill it quick. Oh and use a respirator 😅

fender cutting advice: cut the outermost layer and not the one under don't cut strip either what I found that works for me is when the top layer is cut hammer the back in until the inner is flush with the outer the metal should stretch just fine and when they're flush spot weld it, I wouldn't recommend fully welding it out cause it can warp the fender and lastly seam sealer good luck with the process my friend.

also sense your keeping the fender exit I think routing waste gate dump out the side as well would be really cool might have to make a custom dress up plate for it though, might be worth it for the end product because correct me if I'm wrong but last time you had it go straight to the floor.

I'm worried you're gonna start seeing some rust on the fenders you cut with the bare metal sticking out. Good rule of thumb is to cover it with touch up paint to protect it. Looks great though.

I just ordered the from and rear bumper but there telling me it’s a lot of work to get them to fit right. When you get the bumpers can you please do a video on how to get them to fit? Renton Mike here... so you want to be able to remove the widebody panels, but how will you prevent water getting in thru the rivnuts/screws?... or do you mean seam seal the panels and be able to remove them only AFTER something bad happens?(which will never happen 😉) Kit looks killer dude! However the new RS Impreza “updates” took everything they have had already in their other cars for years; infotainment, engine, etc. does that give this one an exception because lack of “new” parts and features?
Downstar is good stuff. I got an engine bay kit for my Fxt since my stock hardware is so fucking crusty. Whatever the kit doesn't cover I can hopefully scavenge at the old junkyard...

They're aluminum so they don't rust 🤝 but the cuts are getting painted so there's no odd colors

A small bit of sealant goes on each rivnut before being installed to ensure a water tight seal 🔥
