Thank u for ur video.
Law needs u not only to be organized, but be able to filter through what is necessary and unnecessary. It's the one degree/ career where the phrase "study/work smart" is everything.
The reading is a life skill. U get faster with time and if anything, it will improve ur thinking, how to structure thoughts or what u want to say.
I really think it's a good degree if u have a good plan. I hope I will add an MBA to it in a couple years.
Really true, this comment is spot on. Also good luck with your journey man. ALL THE BEST!!!
Thank u, same to you!🙏
Its always the same, some stuff you only know AFTER you choose one path 😍😍😍 and then you have to deal with it.
You are doing great!
Keep the content coming!!!🔥

You’re not alone 😭😭💀💀💀❤️
Your videos are so informative! Thanks for the quality content 🖤
Thank you so so much ❤
Yoh, when you mentioned "at school you are known to be that Mr know it all but in Law everything gets difficult 😂😂😂😂" great clip though. Thanks keep up informing us. And I know you will make it. Or lemme say we🙏🏼😂🕺🏾
Hey hey !!! Yhuu law is difficult man but I love it that’s what keeps me going and passing I guess

The selling of dreams happens with ALL qualifications.
I work at a "big" firm and didn't jump into getting a LLB because I felt that people go into it without doing proper research. There are many careers that one can venture into using the LLB qualification. I only started with my LLB after getting my diploma in law and doing my research. Believe it or not, I DO NOT WANT TO WORK AT A LAW FIRM with this qualification because I hate litigation. I work as a Paralegal full time and am studying 2nd year at Unisa.
I actually also made a video covering that topic. Like with LLB there are more opportunities it’s not the only qualification. But rn I find it hard finding a job in a big firm looking for paralegal vacancies.
Hi sister, May i ask for my information, which qualification got you a job as a paralegal?
A diploma in law (paralegal studies diploma) should get you in. However, in most cases, it's about legal experience. If you have five years above legal experience, you can get a paralegal position.
"Experience" like volunteering? I'm currently pursuing BA in Law with psychology
Diploma in Law
Firstttt
The reading part I relate, that hit me shem because I am also like this.
😂😂 I'm lazy yhuu
I love audio and video literatures
Am not a reading fun like you.
You gave great information
Pls what are u using to watch it
@estheredem5760 TH-cam and also some lectures share slides and audios
Very informative and I must admit I also get easily get distracted. It's even worse when you have kids and work..
It will however be worth it I’m the end that’s what I always tell myself ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I now work so I kinda relate on that half
I wish you all the best sisi..❤❤❤
Thank you so so much 🫂
One of the requirements is (50% in language of teaching and learning) does this mean english or afrikaans? Or just english
❤❤❤
I already applied and got accepted for law but I'm only watching this now 😭😂❤️
Whuuuu sis Congratulations!! and goodluck , honeslty Law is a very interesting course.
Same here high certificate in law
Am how many subject one can qualify to be low student is science that important😮😮 l need some answers and how many points do u need
Hi, do I stand a chance at a big 5 firm or top10 if I’m in a private university(Eduvos), bcom law+llb getting high 80s and some 90s?
I think you have a chance , as long as your marks are great , I say give it a try
It's hectic on these legal streets😭
Thanks sis for the video...it is really helpful 😍. All the best thou😍
Thanks love. Yep I will hold on and complete my degree
@@LindiweMabesa that’s the spirit sis😎. At least you have given me an insight to what I’m about to get myself into 😑😑
I take notes using my pen.Can take me 4-5hours per module.I feel like I'm just wasting time rather than typing.
Any advice🥺🙏....
I prefer that too actually
Hey sister. Which student accommodation would you personally recommend for students whom are planning to study law at unisa, and they wanna stay near the campus? You can share the one you reside in if you don't mind. I'm new to your channel and you've gained yourself a new subscriber
Hey boo unfortunately I saty at home. However I have a friend who's studying Law and attends at the Pretoria campus.... She resides at the Sunnyside jnisa accommodations and they are very nice inside and very affordable. Its R1250 per month.
Also welcome to the family. Next year hopefully campus will be open so I'll show you the inside world of Unisa!! Thank you for subscribing boo🥰🥰🥰🥰
@@LindiweMabesa thank you sis. I would really appropriate to see the inside world of unisa for the first time with you( I was really afraid that I would look like a lost sheep on my first days). People like you are rare, you truly are a nice person
@@LindiweMabesa hey im sorry if its too personal of a question but is the place nsfas acredited
Hey It is to other students not Unisa students eg. TuT and UP . Unisa does not have accommodation allowance
@@LindiweMabesa Hi plz plug me the accomodation numbers or name plz
You are so pretty ❤
Thank you so much girl 😇🥺🥺🥺
Nice pointers
Thank you 😊
Can you enlighten me exactly how the work load is, especially the reading and writing aspect with some examples please
Hey hey, I don’t want to lie to you but it’s a lot . It’s really up to you how you plan your study time tables
Okay Thanks
Trina here❤️❤️❤️
Hey tee
I'm currently Studying Teaching Nd I'm not enjoying it and I Want to change to Law
Can a person enjoy this field 🤔✨
I honestly dont know if you gonna enjoy Law. So from what you've watched does it intrigue your interest in the legal field ? Do you think you handle that?
Yes, that's also the reason why I want it, because it's hard from what I've heard 😅✨ my initial degree was kinda boring, it wasn't for me.
Uhmmmm then go for it then!!
Hi, how many modules do you have to pass in each semester?
To be safe all but to be safe 3 modules out of 5 …. But in a year if you do 10 modules you must pass 5 (basically pass 50% of your modules)
Hay girl, can you study law at unisa with math literacy?
Heyy Yesss . In every varsity
Accommodation o hlala eres or kwi flat
Home with my parents
Hi Lindiwe, when applying to UNISA for the first time, do your documents (Matric certificate and ID copy) need to be certified?
Yes
I applied using my Grade 11 results and they were certified
@@LindiweMabesa alright, thank you so much 😊
Nna am doing my second year but I am still blank. Unisa is hard
Honestly I relate 😪😪😪 I just wanna finish
@@LindiweMabesa how do you make everything sink in your mind?? It's really hard for me I only grab a few things
I cram which is not a good thing, but I’m struggling rn yoh
@@LindiweMabesa Nami I also cram I can't deal aowa Unisa is a trap. My only fear now is that imma finish my degree still not knowing anything and what if I get hired I still need to go over everything again but at least by then it will be kinda practical.
Most people learn on the job , most Law firms have libraries too
Ma ,is it every lawyers that do appear in court?
Depends on their roles but most do, not all attorneys appear in court but advocate’s definitely do
Did you require NBTs to be admitted?
Hey I did write the NBTs only because I applied at schools Like UCT and other Capetonian varsities.
however , No Unisa does not require you to write NBTs for Law
@@LindiweMabesa thank you
Hello,
any tutors that you know and their contacts?
Hey please check via stavia , I’ll check others
Please also check on simplytutors
::How did you cope with all of this?
Remembering why I started
@@LindiweMabesa I wanted to ask if there's anything you perhaps know about bridging courses in paralegal studies and what to expect from a bridging course because in uj, a paralegal bridging course is 4 days so what's there to know and how can you tackle it?
Well I don’t know about Zulu babes yoh I’m so sorry . With unisa a bridging cause is a year
They want 50% in the language of teaching and learning.
I have 60% in English and home language Isizulu.
Do I qualify? Or they want strictly Afrikaans?
Yes you qualify.... 50% is just a minimum requirement
IsiZulu is okay babe, you definitely qualify... you won't be learning in Afrikaans
@@LindiweMabesa can I do law at unisa with mathematical literacy?
Hey yess
So what happens if you are not a reader😮💨
Then this course ain't for you
What about if you are willing and have a passion for it?
Then start reading alot and get used to it 😊
Do you think employers care where you studied law?
With what I've learnt, Unisa law Grads are looked down upon when it comes to big Law firms.
Small and medium firms ......not really sure but I think they do get employment really quickly there. however if you wanna get employed in a big firm "it's possible" just work really hard and let your marks speak for you
@@LindiweMabesa Thank you sm! I was like really worried yk because I personally know UNISA isn't a bad Uni, and personally don't get why it's looked down upon..but I agree, marks probs count the most..so atleast if you work hard there is a chance.
sis rekopa textbook links plez
Hey that new textbook is a new edition it doesnt have a link or soft copy yet , but if you're around Soweto I can sell it to you. For other textbooks available , please download telegram.... search for the module you're doing and then enter the groups and ask for pdf textbooks
@@LindiweMabesa thank u
What are the requirements to study law at UNISA?
And what the difference between Bachelor of Law and BCom in law?
And also, what do suggest I choose as my second option that will still leaf me into a law degree
Get over 50 percent for your home language ( HL ) and first additional Language (FAL) but obviously pass other subjects really well ... pass with a bachelor
BA Law is more like Political and Social Science part of Law so .... your politics etc...
Bcom is more like Commerce side of Law eg , Business , Accounting and economics.....
I'll try to make a video to cover that topic properly
Imma currently doing Paralegal then imma do my LLB. So you can do the same ... or do BAlaw and LLB or Bcomlaw and LLB .
You can't practice as an advocate or attorney without an LLB....
@@LindiweMabesa thank you so much for responding 🥺.
@@LindiweMabesa can't wait for the video!
How long does it take to be a paralegal at unisa and an llb at unisa?
Paralegal is 3years
LLB is 4 years
If you do them together it’s 5 years 6months
'Coom Lawde'
Thank you so muchhhh. Now I know how to pronounce it.
