I am back again with a sit down video talking about transitioning from being a Diploma in Law student to being an LLB student and I will be eating the modules I am doing from easiest to hardest.

Constitutional and fundamental are very similar use the IPAC method to avoid being flagged for suspicious script. That's Issue Principle/law Application and Conclusion for questions 5 marks or above. Love your content BTW

Startes llbb in unisa 2022 only firat semester ajd I got pregnant. Whole last year was juggling between work and being parent. This year. Finance for my 1st semester😢lost out. So this semester im going to do my second semester 1st year. I dont regret my baby but next year couldve been my last year😢
You are a paralegal. Remember, there are two ways in which one can become a paralegal. The formal way(Diploma) and the informal way(short courses and workshops). Either way will qualify you as a paralegal. You did the Diploma, the formal way.

I currently hate afl1501, not because it's hard or anything, it's easy but I find it boring, I am not connecting with it

It is compulsory it prepares you for Bookkeeping when you do your board exams 😭😭😭

All the modules people complain about them being hard are always my favourite😂😂😂 maybe I'm toxic 😂😂 Good luck on your studies babe, I'm on my final semester and trust me LLB is a learning curve. Just brace yourself, only the sky is the limit. ❤😊

Hey do you have advice for a student that done her BA law through on campus learning to now online distance learning through Unisa? Is there tips for easy transition?
Hey I haven’t experienced any in campus learning but one thing I can tell
You is that it will be a great change . You will go from having lecture classes and having a lecturer to having to be your own lecturer and having no classes.
You have to be disciplined as no one will be going after you and reminding you of the study units you should be studying
You can however join groups to study together and have that support from people that relate

How is Bcom law in general? I wanna go for it after I get my diploma in law.
If I chose only 3 modules per year, is it possible to transition from Diploma to LLB? And is it possible to add more module next year for about 10 modules?
Why are you doing 3 modules ? But yes you can still change to LLB that’s if you meet the requirements using your matrix certificate they only use your diploma results once you finish the qualification
My sister let me ask, im a first year at UNISA Dip in Law, can i ask after completing my Dip on law how many years would it be to get an LLB ?
2 years 6 months or 3 years depending on how many modules you take a year

Is it true that even if you do a diploma in law, if your matric aps does not reach the university requirements where you wanna do your LLB, you will not get accepted for the LLB?
If you plan on changing varsities then yes if you staying in unisa you’ll get accepted

Hey so per year you take 10 modules max 5 for first semester and 5 for second semester. It might be hard but you will def finish the degree in 4 years if you take less
You might take longer to finish the degree. First year modules have codes that start with the number 1 eg. SCL1501, ILW1501 , PVL1501 (btw I’d recommend choosing these modules they are very important)
Any idea how much the tuition fee could be for online learners who wish to study from outside south Africa ?

Not sure which modules are done at UJ …. But I know VUT and TUT diploma in law graduates who came to unisa got some credits

How was the transfer from dip in law to LLB? were you credited certain modules or you still have to do 4 years ?

It really depends on luck, but If I know back then I wouldn’t have done it.
If you’re a NSFAS beneficiary you’re gonna struggle a bit when you need funding for LLB

If you passed with a bachelor in matric and your aps is 21. I got more than 21 and I could do LLB straight problem was I didn’t get space in LLB so I just opted to do the diploma

Can i ask what's needed for you to apply for LLB? They require your nsc results or you need to pass all your modules for diploma in law?
Remember when you applied for diploma you used your certificate so now the credits boost your APS meaning you have to pass your modules

I’m not sure but R1,500 from NSFAS reflected on my statement which mean they probably would

Heyy, I just wanna know since u are doing the LLB and FAC1503 is compulsory. Is it true that there will just b assignments for that module and no exam at all??

Yes, there are 9 assignments in total only 6 are compulsory and 3 are optional but I suggest doing all 9 . Then the lecture uses the ones with higher marks to give you your final results
