@@mishjack6857 I did some research on Demanded Types of jobs in South Africa, and certain law fields popped up(not all) . Remember law is very broad carreer, with the rise of crypto, Bitcoin and Block chain that means there needs to be lawyers who going to regulate that sector of the economy. Like almost all sectors of the economy needs laws to guide and create a fair environment for businesses to Prosper and each economy sector needs a legal professional that's going to be updated bout That certain field. That's why u even see medical lawyers, its because we need legal professionals that are going to focus and understand that sector of the economy and who going to liable to deal with issues in that sector. How does the legal fraternity feel about tattoos in South Africa?
Most don’t care
Ive been a sales person / relationship manager / account manager . Im thinking of combining my sales skills with an LLB degree , i think it would go well together .
Go for it 🙂
Thanx ❤❤❤❤😅
Is the malpractice market saturated and are they salary good because I love law and medicine and would like to do both when I graduate?
I think there’s a great market for medical law, especially with Covid in the mix. The salary depends on who you work for but generally good 🌸
@@atleganggovuza6733 how do you enter medical law with a 5 year llb degree ?
@@lyd2460 as far as I know, u need a to be doing a medical degree plus LLB to b able to do that. Jus like Bcom law

Thank you for this information. I am a lawyer in the United States. However, my family and I may be looking to relocating to South Africa. Do you happen to know the requirements to practice in South Africa if you already possess a license in the United States? Would I have to study in South Africa to be able to practice there?
Hi Arisa. I really don’t know but in any event think it will be hard to find a job here, not impossible. Due to high unemployment and the legal market being overly saturated, preference would be given to locals unless you have a unique skill. My thinking ✨
@@atleganggovuza6733 thank you so much!!!
Don’t move here. Don’t 😭 why would you leave the US for SA
@@arisaforest6026 yes, u need to be from south africa to practice in South Africa. Coz I remember last year Zim law students were complaining bout not being able to practice.
Thank you
Do you know if Boston City Campus is a credible college? Like good enough for you to be able to get a job in the legal sector with their LLB degree in Law? Please help if you have any info🥺🙏🏾.
Those people struggle to find proper jobs to be honest. Especially articles. It’s best to go to a normal university 🌼
@@atleganggovuza6733why do u lie I did law at Boston, no such thing as struggling its a private school like iie we more advanced. N get picked more than unisa
Go to Boston and you'll find the truth. It's a private institute n get exposed more
Why do people with an llb struggle to find work in south Africa is it because of university and is UJ a good place to study law
UJ is a good university 🚀
Struggling with jobs is an SA thing, but also, the legal field is over saturated.
Alright thank you alot I wanna do law but I'm afraid of the oversaturation
Is advocacy more promising than attorney in finding a job or what can u do to beat the unemployment rate the best
The lawyers that sits in front of comcourt judges, what are their roles .
Research work for their Judges. And some other stuff but that is the main thing ✨

Shoo and we still have poverty in SA!!!
Hi, what are the benefits of having a law degree?
Lol I don’t know how to answer this. I personally think that at this stage, the field is way too saturated
Yeses ziyabuya ku Law mos haaa!!
Work hard and get good marks. Getting articles with average marks? the ghettoest ghetto. You don't need that in your life trust me
Preach 💯
So if you have a messed up academic record you are basically doomed?💔
@@Hendrica_Diaries not necessarily doomed but things are not easy when you have a messed up AR,I for one have average marks and I am struggling to get articles, I know that if I had worked harder and gotten good marks, I would not have been struggling with getting articles. The truth is marks open doors for you.
I literally have great marks I would assume 70%-89% on my academic record on my diploma in law and LLB but I still feel as though I went to the wrong university which unisa I m literally nt so confident whether my good marks will open doors for me I m very sceptical simply because of the university I went to💔💔😭😭😭
It is the ghettooo! Even when you get articles you sometimes have to settle for a salary below the minimum wage!!🚮🚮
Is there a demand for LLB graduates? How easy is it to get a job with one?
If I have to be honest, the field is saturated. A lot of graduates but not enough jobs. It’s only a few who do secure decent earning jobs. So I would say it’s not easy but if you do well in school, you improve your chances of getting a good job ✨
All I know is many people choose the saturated sectors of law. Maybe try litigation, commercial law and many more ,there is very much in demand in South Africa for those Law types.
@@trayway3014 what are these saturated sectors that people focus on?
So u can look it up the fields that are said to be in demand in law that lawyers usually don't be keen on jumping on.
@@trayway3014 oh okay, I have a diploma in economics maybe I’ll do a year for the advanced once I’m done with my LLB. I’ve always considered commercial law. Thank you
Ur wages are equivalent to someone working at McDonald’s full time where I live wtf???
South Africa labor industry is honestly ghetto, and it honestly starts with high school getting higher marks isn't that encouraged kids end up studying courses that will. Not earn them a lot of money plus law industry is saturated so companies they take advantage of that and the wage is quite low but as time goes you earn higher, but in general we earn little especially compared to our white counterparts

Hi Carol. I’m not sure how well you need to do to go into LLB. But I would say generally aim for 65% and higher throughout Varsity
Just don’t settle for the HC. You must study your LLB
Thank you
This country has no constitution
I'm doing a Teaching degree and I'm not enjoying it
I'm thinking of changing to Law,
Can one enjoy this degree?

It’s nice but it depends again on you and the area of law you practice in
Lol, most lawyers who are well established got no free time, they clients demand them left and ryt. The stress level is on another level.
What subject are needed bo become a estate lawyer coz I have math lit, business, geography,CAT
You can study anything in high school. History is useful and I also advise on pure Math if possible. But even with your modules, it’s all good. Just make sure you Math lit marks are good 😊
@@atleganggovuza6733 Okay thanks but my school doesn't have history so I will stick with my subjects thanks 👍 I will pass my math lit with flying colours
