Hi sis,I researched on the internet and almost got discouraged by the information I read ,saying it’s impossible to do a combined LLB degree without taking the BA Law or Bcom Law route.
I’m glad I came across your video and gained more information about Paralegal Studies!❤I’m about to start grade 12 and this information really helped❤

Abeg my skin is bad it’s the iPhone 💀💀
You really helped me I am 18 and doing a diploma in something else because o thought my law journey will be over but you really helped me I'll apply soon at UNISA
Do apply ❤️ I don’t know if applications are still open though
I will definitely do so ,so am applying for diploma in law right cause on the internet it says paralegal studies is 6 months at UNISA ,that's where am a bit confused now
No babes it’s 3 years
Well explained.
Thank you - I'm glad I helped
This has been an eye opener. Please rank the different law degrees by their range of difficulty .
They are all Difficult babes I didn’t do Ba Law and Bcom Law and also diploma in Law has LLB modules however I’d say the easiest for me is in his ranks
1. Paralegal
2. Ba Law
3. LLB
4.bcom Law
Like I said however 1 and 3 has the same modules but 2 and 4 has I think 20 modules that LLB has. Personally bcom would be harder cause it involves accounting business and economics as well as Law and I’m not good with accounting
Contrary to popular belief accounting is easy especially first year.
Hence I mentioned that “personally” bcom would be hard for me especially the accounting modules .
@@Uthando-h1qI appreciate your comments on this channel, you sound knowledgeable of the Law industry . I'm not a numbers person so already my heart is shattering just hearing accounting
Thank you
No thank you for watching🥹 I appreciate it
Hi
Could you please make a video about your experience studying llb at unisa ,including stress level, social life, pressure and more
I definitely will After exam season because I’ll be talking about how stressful it was getting this qualification
Love the video, just what I needed. Where did you study paralegal?
Hey I study at Unisa
Please enlighten us more about how it is to he a paralegal student and how to prepare yourself mentally for the journey .
Honestly I spent my paralegal years wish I was a LLB student because I really felt like I was wasting my time and I could have done a lot of things , but the bright side is I’ll have 2 qualifications by 2025
Also read on about the course to know more about it , it’s really interesting it’s almost like LLB but 3/4 parts of the course is all about Paralegal and things to expect in the law field
I love loooovee the video! I would like to know which university/ies still credit paralegal studies to LLB? I am a paralegal student at TUT and want to further my studies, although I do some research on my side the results say no university credits anymore!!!#stressed
Unisa definitely ….. UJ maybe . Thanks so much for watching please share with your paralegal friends
@@LindiweMabesa thanks doll.ill def plug them
New Subbie
Welcome boo
Please can you do other video focusing on paralegal studies ,and what to expect from paralegal for Unisa and university of Johannesburg what careers I can explore if I paralegal studies
Career videos are coming soon
please share your energy with me , thanks
😂😂😂
hey beautiful ❤
This video was insightful. Where did you do your Paralegal studies? Was it in UJ?
I did it at Unisa babe
Please don’t forget to subscribe ❤️
Thank you. I'll be doing it with UJ in 2023. I'm so nervous 😩
Don’t be baby ❤️
@@siba92 don't be nervous, did mine with uj.
Hi. Is it possible to do a BA general then do BA(law) the next year if i did well during my BA general?
thank you very much
You are welcome
So if you have a diploma in law and want to do Bcom how many years would it take?
@raymondmathebula5666 May I ask why you want to do Bcom ?
Very interesting. What is the difference between what BA Law students study and Paralegal students study?
BA Law has some Political science modules , sign language modules , I think religious too and paralegal has your admin modules , workplace ethics , environmental law , business modules and how to be a paralegal and open a paralegal centre kinda modules
@@LindiweMabesa thanks!
What if I want to specialize in a specific aspect of law, like Entertainment Law for example, would I have to do an LLB strictly?
Yes , electives you’ll choose media law to see if you really enjoy it then you’ll follow your desired path
Would you recommend someone to do a BA in law and politics first then the LLB or LLB straight?
LLB straight
Are there any bursaries you can recommend pls, I am a paralegal student and want to add the 2 years 6 months but funding might be the problem
Once you do your LLB it's easier cause
You can apply at different law firms for bursaries , also try TETA Bursary , GCRA bursary , Allen Gray ,
@@LindiweMabesa thank u so much
My pleasure
hii i am a student at GSS at the moment
currently sitting for m y BGCSE and i am aspiring to be a lawyer my question would be wich one should i go for first and why??
Hey I really don’t know what BGCSE is nor do I know your school but I advise you do your bachelor degree in Law (LLB)
Hy. After doing my BA and wanting to finish off that 2 year LLB will I be getting same funding like nsfas?? Or they withdraw?
They only fund one degree. So you'll have to pay for your LLB or get a bursary
Depends on your luck eyy
Heyy
Is it possible to be a paralegal with just a Higher certificate in law from unisa ?
Eyy it’s gonna be hard shem it might be possible but I doubt. I think just further your studies
Aypheli 😭😭😭
Thanks so much for this info! Could you please tell me the overall cost of the LLB degree? Like at the end of 4 years study what is the total cost of studying it through Unisa?
I’m using Nsfas and every year my financial statement would say R25000+
They really vary , I don’t study LLB but I sure will say it gets from R25000+ per year so it’s like R100000+ maybe R160000
@@LindiweMabesaWow. Gotta look into getting some support. Thanks for the reply.
Out of curiosity can I get a bcom law or LLB in South Africa then work in Botswana with either degree?
Those degrees cover South African law they won’t be applicable in Botswana however the business and commerce modules maybe ….. you can .
@@LindiweMabesa thank you for the info hey
Are we all supposed to go for zeale
I'm a current llb student and I want to transfer abroad it's quite confusing
Will I have apply for llb or BA before law school please explain
LLB , cause even if you do BA law you gonna have to also do LLB .
LLB is the main requirement to being a lawyer
Hi, I did not qualify to do LLB with my matric results, I was thinking of doing a Higher Certificate in paralegal practice studies with Boston City college so that I increase my chances of admission for LLB at a public university. Do u advise me to do the Higher certificate? Because I upgraded my results but still I don’t meet the APS score .
Nooooo go to Unisa, you won’t get your credits you won’t be able to bridge ,
People I know who went there had to start all over again cause their modules weren’t recognised apparently
Hi, after I get my diploma in law/paralegal studies can I do my LLB at UJ or UP?
Hey you can but they gonna still refer back to your Matric certificate…. Meaning you should meet their APS requirements
Ohhh, so lindi after ur 3year diploma which llb year modules can you do since it's only 2years to do llb after after the parelegal diploma? 🤔
The ones I didn’t do in my diploma qualification eg. Constitutional Law …etc
@@LindiweMabesa Ohhh, alright thanks cause I saw some financial accounting vibes now ehh😅✌🏽. Mara dankie.
Yes there’s also an Accounting Module in LLB
@@LindiweMabesa Danm🚶🏽♂️, alright dankie✨
You’re welcome ☺️
Can I be a corporate lawyer if I do LLB ??
Yes , a requirement to being one is to do LLb
Can u start with a paralegal then ba after do LLB
Hey lol yea , that’s literally what I said I’m the video
How many years do you take to complete LLB after completing 3 years criminology degree?????
Hey hey - it depends on how many modules are the same if your criminology degree had maybe 10 modules that are the same as LLB it will roughly be 3 years
@@LindiweMabesa thank you
So if I do paralegal first year you think I can change to llb second year?
Yes you can that’s if you qualify with your aps
Hey hey I don't know how it works with UJ 💔😩
Can i do bcom law even if i did maths lit
Hey hey I'm not sure eyyy
It depends on the institution
@@chichii06 also depends on the maths lit mark
hey
can i study for llb then go further for bcom law ?
Yes you can
I've always been confused about the different law degrees
We’ve all been 😂😂😂
Can i be a paralegal with my LLB degree or BA?
Yes you can . You can also be a Candidate attorney with that LLB
Is the bachelor of laws[new] at unisa LLB?
Yess
Is llb done in law school
At university
I'm an embroidery artist i just wanna talk to you regarding study in Cape Town..
Hey I don’t study in CPT tho

I do not like how you present your content. This is not a wagging and voging show, relax your hands and stop with the childish gestures and really just focus on the content and deliver it to the best of your abilities because we are not here trying to be your friends but because we are looking for informative information. Your type of presentation may be good for gossip content and all that but not for academic information. I was so annoyed.
If I saw myself in law I think I’d do BA law but learning all the legislations? Yho-ha miss me your honour😭😭
I wonder if people actually know this ngoba everyone runs for LLB straight ohhhh because they want to fall under all those things…
Mmh, lol re batlo judgaja 😂😂
“You’re going up”😂😂😂
If you have LLB you’re going up 😭😂😂😂
