JL hood latch install on my wife’s 2dr JK Jeep Wrangler

In this video, I install some MOPAR oem JL hood latches on my wife’s 2016 Jeep Wrangler JK.

Her old latches were pretty faded and the Jeep needed a latch overhaul.
I watched three videos to gain enough confidence to start drilling into the hood of her Jeep. Ben from JK gear and gadgets, CPO o3dJeeps , and Defiant Offroad had some great insight on how to line up the hood and fender lines.
You do not need to do any drilling at all on this install, however if you want the hood to line up, you’ll need to either use a burr bit or drill the hood holes to 3/8”.
