Thanks for having me as usual Krenar! Really enjoyed going through the new AZ Standards with you and I think we both need to own one of these soon 😉 €549 is an absolute STEAL for these!
Ibanez really might have listened to me. in 2022 I sent Hoshino Gakki E-mail in Japanese, told them RG565's are selling out, we want to see more of the RG565's, please don't stop making them, and in 2025, they released them again in different finish's. :D
@@derickalbert I get where you're coming from. Blocking it is an option but modding it and putting a nice trem is a better option, if you want to utilize the trem.
@@KrenarCilkuGuitar I was thinking a Vega, but that would cost half as much as the guitar. Although they look and sound worth it. Installed 8 trems last year, Vega was the most expressive and fluid feeling of all.Gotoh, Mann, Hipshot, Super V, and Fender 2 point, and two Vegas.
@@nathancourtney2006thanks! we're playing through the Fractal FM9. The tremolo is acceptable but not the best. If I had this guitar, I'd definitely invest in a nice tremolo system for it!
I wish they had shown off something other than AZ pointy guitars, Im not subscribed to the pointy guitar club, I had an Ibanez super strat in the '80s and never got on with the FR like bridge. I like the AR and the AZS tele like model, and my Roadstar II
@@AndrewAHayes hey man, thanks for watching! The new AZS aren't that pointy, imho. But stay in the lookout for Rich's video, he has some really nice Semi-Hollow Ibanez guitars to show! Cheers!
Few things Ibanez could have added similar to a Harley Benton Fusion III. First one is a roller string tree instead of the cheapo vintage ones. Secondly, the two point trem system. Finally, a roasted maple fretboard instead of Jatoba. If Harley Benton could do it, what held you back Ibanez?
If I were to guess, I'd say they will probably do that in the future because they will inevitably sell like crazy as they are. To keep it fresh, they'll most likely offer different finishes, possibly solid colors, too. Cheers!
AZ standard trem-endous mistake 😂 i don't buy into the notion of upgrading it or even blocking it. Do look nice mind i can imagine they will shift quite a few of these.
hahaha, I get it, tinkering with upgrades and stuff isn't for everyone. Even if you put one of the best bridges in the market, like the Vega Trem, you're still way under. The looks, tone and playability are definitely worth the purchase. Cheers man!
@@williammolina9792 yeah, it would have been too good to be true if it had a proper nice trem. In my opinion, however, it's totally reasonable to invest in a good trem for it and upgrade it. The looks and sounds are to die for!

Hey buddy! The pleasure is all mine! Yeah, they rule and we definitely need one in our arsenal! Cheers man!
At $550 with the neck joint carve, SS and locking tuners, this thing is an ideal shell for modding a guitar.
Yes!
I'm considering one - what would be the first mods you'd look to make?

I will never get used to the UK/EU term Zed for Z, just always makes me start for a second.

The only thing which cripples the AZ series is the trem, I wish they used 2 points floating trem or hardtail.

2nd position with the switch up is the bridge split. You got the tele on 4th position with the switch up
The 24 fret neck option is preferred imo. Two full octaves is a much more versatile option.

I only wish the 24 fret version came with an HSS option and a decent two point trem instead of some cheapo six screw trem
@@Unchainedmaple888 I think blocking the trem would make it better. It also makes for a nice mod project at that price point, though!

There is something wrong with the links, i got redirected to homepage in both cases
Hey! Thanks for the heads up! Trying to fix it as we speak!
You guys completely missed the HSS neck position with just the single goil. lol
I thought it was the AZS, the T-style version
Just realized that I messed up the title! Thank you for pointing that out!
If only they had released a few of these models in solid colors, without those overly cheap-looking flame maple tops.

So you can easily upgrade it to a Vega Trem. 😎

This or the Harley Benton ST-Modern Plus I dont know.
Tough one... I haven't played the Harley Benton. It looks really nice on paper but I can only say that this Ibanez RULES!
