I beg to differ. Pax Dei, at this point, is all flash and little substance. Yes, creative people can create absolutely gorgeous buildings. However, at this time, you cannot interact with any furniture other than chests and doors. You can't sit at the table, you can't sit on the bed, you can't even lie down on the bed. And yet I've been able to do all of those things in Valheim and Enshrouded. Also, the build system is very clunky and user unfriendly. To get pieces to mesh you often have to play "pixel hunt", moving back and forth, looking up and down anything to change your view in order to get a snap-point to engage. And yes, I get it, it's an early access game. Things will get better. So, when it gets better, then put out this video with this title. Until then, it's a waste of video.
Though I like the housing in Pax Dei. I do NOT like the way they have instituted the "structural support". I also do NOT like the lighting that is currently in the game. The lighting fixtures do NOT throw enough light to be able to really see inside of the buildings. Because of this, I have purposely left the roofs off of my houses. I FAR FAR like the way housing/building is done in the game, Enshrouded. Enshrouded has the best building system of any game I've ever experienced. That's just my opinion. As I said, I do like the building system in Pax and i'm sure It will get better as time goes on.
No. No it absolutely doesn't. ESO is at vastly superior. The editor, the scope, the "physics" that they purport to have ham handed us with are not realistic and only serve to make overcoming the limited items and inadequate primitives horribly difficult. That said, the rendering on the part of the artists is lovely.
