Guide: Farming the Best PvE Pauldron in Pax Dei

- This video is a detailed guide on how to farm the Moonshine Pauldrons, a Best in Slot PvE Pauldron with Pacify I on it (which prevents mobs from aggroing to you)! This farm is very easy for two people and you can reset the spawn if the Elite Mob, the Luna Wolf, doesn't spawn. The cave is great for farming Carved Collarstone and Animal Hide (T2 hide)! Make sure you go to the cave in North Eastern Dolovan in Kerys to do the SPECIFIC farm but many caves will have the Luna Wolf in them! #playpaxdei

Wow i see bonebreaker but scary to kill him😮
how is that with the respawn timer? 15minutes dont work. i tried login out 5minutes. only found her twice in 1hour. i am around the spot alone at night.
@@parisidle if after killing the Lector Illuminare you log out and there isn't an immediate respawn then you are not alone in that area. If the respawns are just executrix over and over again that is just bad luck on spawn rate unfortunately.

its nice i got in 2 weeks back on accident. However, there are so many methods to easily cheese PVE combat kidna becomes pointless
I have hunted these caves with my wife more times than I can count. I have never seen Luna wolf. I have killed Bonebreaker half a dozen times but never even seen Luna. Elder wolf and Old Fang also died multiple times to our great mauls but not once will Luna show herself. What is your secret? People here are complaining about seeing her only twice an hour? How is this possible? I decided to run all the way across Kerys twice to this particular wolf cave that you show in the video and only got Bonebreaker twice in the same room at the same time where you say she spawns. We have been waiting and camping respawns but nothing but growlers. Is there a secret deodorant you are using?! Agh!
I have all the ingredients to craft 2 of them but i wasnt sure about it cuz pacify is worst than mesmerize but I Guess i’ll make them anyway

I wouldn't say one is better or worse than the other. I'd say they are both highly useful utility spells that give players a lot of options. Just a matter of what tools you like most!

For a sandbox mmo, there shouldn’t be a single best item for every player. Yikes.
@@AWarner1690 it is my opinion and many might disagree. Also important to note that only a small small fraction of spells exist in game right now. I highly suspect for more variation like you said will exist as the game develops!
It sucks that it doesnt work in PVP... pretty bad
it's basically mind soothe from WoW but removing any range at all from mobs aggroing. How would that work in pvp? lol. if anything it's used to get combat with healers to stop them from drinking in WoW. Useless in pax dei pvp but insane for soloing pve content which is very useful for getting future magical items
@@antstar101 Yeah... good point ... But PVP now is ... guy with 200 stamina runing away from you can you cant get him... because their so attack to root someone... so... they should ad it
@@fatjay9402 yep, which is why I hope they implement at the very least even an ability on the bows which can maybe cripple or temporarily slow the target that was hit on a 20/30sec cd so you can catch up to people with skill shots, would be ideal in my mind ^^
I love your guides and videos, but for a player without a large clan, those shoulders are not "easy" to achieve, they are 2 months away. Pax Dei only has a successful future if it is accessible to the mass market, which means the masses of solo-players and mini-clans. Pax Dei will have to at least halve the time spent on gathering, building and crafting for the game to be a commercial success.
Mini clans can make short work of these things!! If someone goal is to progress at any type of pace, solo is not the way to go. I like how it is forcing co-operation! Big thing missing in all MMOs
@@RogueMonk Slow pace is absolutely fine, but if you overdo it and the game is not accessible to solo players and mini-clans, the game will hardly survive.

Get your solo play talk outa my game, literally a social sandbox MMO. Mini clans are killing it, takes less to gear everyone out. Solo will take time as it should. Truly sick of solo talk in MMO’s…
Pax Dei already has problems, otherwise the Alpha aka Early Access would not have been released a year too early. The game still needs at least another 3 years of development time. It is also not possible for a small studio to develop and implement a modern combat system within a year. If you already have a good combat system including animations, then a year is enough to polish and balance it.
Some people do not understand that if the game dies and the servers have to be shut down, they will no longer benefit from it either. That is why accessibility for the mass market is important for everyone.
Disadvantage 1: Only PvP possible after the beginner phase
After endless farming and the tedious crafting of hundreds of useless items, you finally have access to higher-value items after weeks of playing. These can only be obtained in the PvP area (e.g. steel)
Disadvantage 2: Only those in large (Russian) guilds can progress
In the PvP area, you have to farm endlessly again. If you have painstakingly earned a bit of steel or rare plants, 6-10 Russian guild members will kill you. They are already much higher in level and can then not only take the items you have farmed, but also all your equipment. Everything is over and you have to start all over again.
Disadvantage 3: At least 60 EUR are required!
You can only build everything you need if you invest at least 60 EUR. The emphasis here is on "necessary". Because one plot is not nearly enough to build the large smelting furnace, the windmill and the large coal pile.
Disadvantage 4: Every building looks identical
If you just want to enjoy the really beautiful landscape and stay in the beginner's area, you can also build. BUT: Every building looks identical and can only vary in shape. There is only a choice between a stone house and a wooden house. So you walk through the landscape and see one house after the other and they all look very much the same. Sometimes wider, sometimes higher and that's it.
Disadvantage 5: Russians threaten Europeans with nuclear bombs in the game
And there is neither a block function nor are there any reactions from the software developer. Doors in the house can be opened by anyone. So the Russians can have a party or annoy you in other ways. Pax Dei lets these people get away with it and unfortunately does nothing about it. Even extreme chat messages are not penalised despite the screenshot. Russian style at Pax Dei too?
