- My wife and I went on a cruise for our 2 year anniversary and we went parasailing for the first time! The weather was great and the water was beautiful shades of blue and green! We enjoyed it and I was able to bring my new GoPro with me so I hope you enjoy it too!

We went to Florida this summer and I was gonna do it but the weather was bad :( but that’s really tall and terrifying.
I parasailing with my wife in Key West but never again. I was terrified the whole time and almost threw up I had to lie down after. I knew I had a fear of heights but I thought it was worth a shot to give it a try my advice if you have a fear of heights do not parasail.
Did it with my two sisters. Three on a line. Wow. So much fun !! I’m afraid of heights buts at least I wasnt alone. Ha ha ha. Would do again. I was 57 years old n went up. This was our sister cruise also on Carnival cruise line. Parasailing crew very professional and fun too

What type of ear protection does your wife have on? I need something like that for my mom.

I’m not even scared of the heights of scared of the water for some reason I get really anxious when I’m in the ocean when I can’t see around me and I can’t touch the ground

Matt I know this video is from a few years back but can you recall the quiet level at that altitude? Was it mainly wind noise or can you also hear noises below from passing boats, cars, etc?

I personally have a fear of heights, but once i got up in the air it was so fun and so beautiful! Theres nothing to be afraid about it :)
It's a bit scary the first few seconds after taking off. Feeling like you can fall in the ocean at any time, but that wears off, and it's pretty laid back after that.

Let me just say, for the boat ride was a little nerve racking cause im scared of heights didnt know what i was getting myself into with my cousins, until saw what i was doing! But its actually super fun

We went off the sand standing up decades ago and landed on the beach this new stuff is probably easier for the majority

yeah we freaked out about that too at first.. it seems dangerous, but there is sooo much wind in that parachute its super easy for the boat driver to get your feet wet and not totally dunk you. Plus, my wife asked him to dunk us extra before we took off, so most people don't get that much haha!
