The new nexus v2 is awesome. Love the element range of scopes. Only got a little helix myself but it’s brilliant does exactly what I want it to do. Wouldn’t mind a Titan or if I could go that far a Theos. Now that’s a very very nice scope. Great video. Thanks Mark.
Having seen you using this I recently bought the nexus 2. Very solid and good quality. It would seem to be not quite so good in low light conditions, but you did say day scope.
Got an Element Helix 6-24 50mm for my 223 based on your comments/posts about a year ago, brilliant scope for the money! great day or night (using a pard).
Hi Mate, I know ya into your thermal these days but i have just got a new illuminator from Nightfox that ya might want to look at Its awesome a possibly worth you looking at: - switchable (via a switch no pill change) white light, 850nm and 940nm - quiet on off switch - also dimmer switch - beam focus - 25mm tube to fit adjustable mount ... i tried it this week and foxes cannot see the 940nm.... its the dogs mate...well worth a look.
We need a video on long range digtal night vision, we have entered a time that its coming abd wil be tje big thing. Would be a class video and gje firsr on y tube in depth
The biggest challenge in long range shooting is reading the wind and this is even more difficult at night! Realistically for hunting, with the advantage of darkness, do we really need to be shooting much over 300 yards at night? 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks for reply sorry I didn't explain, I ment digital nv shooting day times. Atn which I'm not a fan of has windage input. It will be the future and I think we are bordering into now. But without seeing someone likes yourseld do it. It's always worth waiting for
To be quite honest the principals are the same as any other calibre, my advice is always check your drops at gradually increasing distances and pay close attention to how the wind effects your shots at various ranges 👍
It’s very much a personal choice! I have scopes in both planes but I would probably opt for ffp personally I think. The Titan 3-18x 50 is a cracking scope for the money and ticks all the boxes for hunting especially with its low base mag as well as long range play. Helix hdlr is also a good choice. If you want slightly higher quality glass then step up to either the first or second gen Nexus 😉
Hey mate hope all is well, I know you probably get this all the time but I was looking to know what would be a good 22 rifle to go for for my first. Therea plenty of place over here in NI selling them but there is a lot of shite about and they would sell anything just to make a few pound, so if I could get ur professional opinion on this that would be great, thank you. Keep them videos coming 👍
It’s good mate, yes it does all light up with variable brightness. I actually prefer the illumination on the first nexus as this lit only the centre cross then the whole Ret as it increased in brightness, but this one dims enough to not be an issue 👍
So the nexus has the same glass as the Nightforce atacr scope so to another Nightforce the only difference will be in terms of features, with a cheap scope you will quickly notice the difference in glass quality, especially at low light and also how reliably it tracks. I’ve used cheap scopes where you dial one Moa and it actually moves it 3 Moa!
Apologies mark didn't realise they had brought a v2 out I've recently got hold of the new helix HDLR which now uses the glass and lenses with the titan great scope element is a great brand using high quality components
Je possède une lunette élément optique titan est je trouve que c'est une lunette magnifique est superbe pour la précision, mais je me demande si je reprend une titan ou la nexus pour mon autre carabine. tu peut me dire les différence entre ces deux lunettes. Merci
I get to use their scopes yes, however I put this video out without any prompting from Element simply because they are good scopes and excellent value and I felt I’d spread the word👍

Beautiful upgrade, Mark!
You selling your old Nexus off? Be a hell of a auction for a 260RIPS Element scope!
Missing the video mark hope you start making more soon
Hi mate I’ve not stopped! I’m doing videos on ‘the shooting show’ and ‘shooting and country tv’ these days 👍
A small 40mm focus wheel would be good

Great vid as always. Any chance of a review of the B14, I have one but it's always nice to hear another's opinion.
I’ve got half a video done on it as it goes! I brought mine about 18 months ago and I love it, very accurate rifle and a joy to shoot 😉
@@260rips Brilliant, I'll look forward to it.

Hi mark.Any videos on longer range 223 shooting and calculating drops ? Recently bought a tikka and want to learn what it can do.
To be quite honest the principals are the same as any other calibre, my advice is always check your drops at gradually increasing distances and pay close attention to how the wind effects your shots at various ranges 👍
Hi mark , great review, what would you recommend for hunting and the odd play about long range shooting , the first or second focal plane thanks jim

Nice one Mark i am thinking of a Nexus very soon are they all FFP pal.
Hi thanks Simon happy new year mate 😉👍 yes they are, really nice scopes and excellent value, drop me a pm if you want one 😉
❤❤❤❤❤❤

Anshultz are good but a little more pricey, to be honest you won’t go far wrong with a clean cz rifle 👍
Great info, thanks
Whats the eyebox like at 25x mag.
Does the whole of the rectlicle illumination light up inc hold over numbers etc.
It’s good mate, yes it does all light up with variable brightness. I actually prefer the illumination on the first nexus as this lit only the centre cross then the whole Ret as it increased in brightness, but this one dims enough to not be an issue 👍
How does it compare to the similarly priced Nightforce NX8 4-32x50 F1 and the much cheaper Tract Toric ELR 4-25x50 34mm?
So the nexus has the same glass as the Nightforce atacr scope so to another Nightforce the only difference will be in terms of features, with a cheap scope you will quickly notice the difference in glass quality, especially at low light and also how reliably it tracks. Hi mark great review is your new scope a nexus or the new theos? as I didn't know they made a v2 nexus regards phill
It’s a new one out, the new nexus version 2 😉
Apologies mark didn't realise they had brought a v2 out I've recently got hold of the new helix HDLR which now uses the glass and lenses with the titan great scope element is a great brand using high quality components
Is the nexus better optically than the old bushnell elite 6500? I got that bushnell and considering sell it and get the nexus. Any thoughts?
Love my Titan
Any difference in the glass between the nexus gen 1 and gen 2 or is it the same?
Je possède une lunette élément optique titan est je trouve que c'est une lunette magnifique est superbe pour la précision, mais je me demande si je reprend une titan ou la nexus pour mon autre carabine. tu peut me dire les différence entre ces deux lunettes.

The nexus has a higher quality glass than the Titan and helix models so optically slightly sharper and better in low light 👍
Are they all first focal plane 🤔....be a shame if they are..
No they do sfp too I believe 👍
What video camera do you use mate?
I use panasonic think it’s an hcv510 👍
Are you from Australia?
No mate other side of the world! 🇬🇧
Does your foxing have ffp or sfp ?
Most of my day optics are ffp 👍
First focal plane or second ?
Ffp 👍
Tahts the stuff
Your not being paid but their giving you the scopes 😄
I get to use their scopes yes, however I put this video out without any prompting from Element simply because they are good scopes and excellent value and I felt I’d spread the word👍
Hope they're not all first focal plane 🤔
@@nigelbase1196 no I believe there are sfp options too 👍
Make more videos pleases
I’m always doing videos for shooting & country tv channel here on youtube😉👍
👌🇳🇴
Good advertising
How arrogant to refer to this scope as God (theos)
