As for being stronger than Seline in raw strength maybe but unlike Victor and Seline he was not a warrior or even shown to have been as skilled combatant as Seline and Victor. Indeed, out of everyone Victor is probably the only one that could match Seline in combat skills, but Victor like Seline had spent centuries as a warrior. Marcus on the other hand was just old which is really the only reason he's even on this list age and being a hybrid.

She does also acknowledge that Anything and *Everything* that she'd done, as Viktor's most-Loyal Death Dealer AND to Avenge her slain-family, could all be lain at Alexander Corvinus for *NOT* doing anything about William, Markus or even Viktor (even though Viktor was not one of his sons, Alexander, as Viktor's Contemporary, knew Viktor's true character).
I would move David up to Amelia's position at the very least. The lore makes no sense. The Lycan scientist viktor killed in the mansion was very clear that they needed an untainted strain of the Corvinus virus & that it would not work on Marcus as he had already undergone mutation into a vampire. Following his logic (presumably based on experimentation) the blood that infected Marcus should have reacted violently & killed him.
He definitely had vampire blood during his capture. So I would say no. As the pre-lycan strain was dominant over vampire. Which is why William lost himself and couldn't change back. Marcus had the watered down lycan strain which was around the same as the vampire 1. Meaning he could evolve.
My only negative is I think David should have been in the top 5. That's just my opinion though. I think he is a very strong vampire. He also has some of Selene's blood in him too which greatly increased his power!!!! Loved this video though!!!! Such a great movie franchise!!!!!!

The underworld series is underrated, in my opinion. I always preferred their explanation of how vampires and lycans came to be, including the original being nothing more than an immortal human. Side note, during the purge, Selene could have created an army of day walking vamps. Just sayin... 2nd side note: I would have liked to see a movie solely about when Marcus turned Victor and Amelia. Bill Nighy is one of my all-time favorite actors. His portrayal of Victor was so good. If someone ever pondered the question of what an elder vampire would really be like you'd just need to point to Victor like, "This dude, this dude is what they'd be like... 100% this dude. Is if she's heard anything about Michael. Implying that David wants to meet him. How can you say Marcus was more powerful than Victor (which is true) but yet put him ahead of Marcus...makes no sense at all. I'd even say Marcus was more powerful than Selene since he was beating her until he became distracted when William was killed.
The only possible answer to this is if in Victor's case, he is including the Vampire army at his command which seem to be extremely loyal to Victor. I suppose it depends if we are including that or just a one on one comparison.

If Marcus had known the Seline had grown so much stronger the fight would have been different. He found out when it was too late. His wings were seriously OP and a couple of times it was like they were 30 feet long, plus he could obviously levitate. When he was flying alongside that truck he was barely flapping them and when he would stop he didn't start to fall to the ground. His wings were deadlier than a sword or spear. If he had a sword in each hand he would be unbeatable. Put silver caps on the points of his wings and the lycans would have run for the hills. if they were able to put William in that sarcophagus they could have put him in chains and a silver lined cell. He wasn't chained in the sarcophagus but he couldn't break out. They could have placed him in a cell with silver-plated steel walls with a 60 foot steel ceiling plated with silver. Maybe put him on an island with a boat patrolling. Then Marcus could have tried talking to him. Maybe even Alexander would have tried talking to him. Maybe Alexander's blood would have changed him into a less savage version. Maybe Marcus's blood would have. He didn't attack Marcus when he saw him even though he hadn't seen him in 500 years. Maybe enough time in the cell, alone, with no one else getting anywhere near him would have been enough. Give him a cow every couple of days. I'm curious if he would have attacked other Lycans.
When I was a kid I actually encountered someone with lycanthropy. It’s a psychological condition, whereby the person feels like they are transforming into something, they then learn about wolves and werewolves and latch onto the idea that they’re a werewolf 😂

I feel that Michael was poorly treated as a character. We know that he was literally on oar with Markus because Markus could not overpower michael in their first meeting.. it's a shame that his character was mistreated. Lucian was also underutilized and mistreated as well

Viktor was powerful, he could probably give Marcus a good fight, but the first vampire was noticeably stronger. Viktor seemed more authoritarian and arrogant only because he had more political power in the vampire house, as most of the members of the house were Viktor's army and subordinates, and Amelia was also on V. Marcus's side in a possible coup between older vampires, he would be alone against everyone. but 1vs1 is the strongest of all.

I agree with most Marcus should be stronger, but i remember the Michael fights also a hybrid. Victor fought Michael first and i know he just turned and was learning his powers. However he still had power, Victor easily turned that battle around and was about to kill Michael when Seline had to step in. Now later Marcus had fights with Michael as well both in hybrid form and showed more even at times. So i'm not ultimately sure if Victor was drastically weaker!! So in Underworld movies vampires grow/age, like humans since you say that David was born and is only twenty-five years old when the purge began. Also he has a mother and also a father... like a human.
It's a bit strange, for what we can see, I'd say in Underworld, vampires can reproduce, and when they are converted, they stay at that age forever, but when born, they age until they reach their prime, and then stop there, that's the only theory I can manage to think of.
So underworld is my favorite movie franchise since I was a young man I remember when the movie 1st came out. It's a shame the the creator could get over his wife having a intimate relationship with the character named Micheal. If yall didn't know that was why the franchise went to crap. The producer at thw time was dating Selena but choose to make a sense where her and the character Micheal have ...u know. So in turn at some point between underworld 3 makings. He found out that they were messing with each other in real life. He was so angry he termed the contract with the character Micheal. And had to revamp the entire series. Hints the reason he came out with rise of the lycans. I was always a fan of lycan very much more than vampires. And I thought it was great even tho he was worried the movie would flop. But when it got a good rating and fans wanted more that's when he thought ok maybe I can do this without the character or actor that played Micheal and end up making 4 and 5 which were both poo poo. He just put some stuff together to finish the series cause it's what fans wanted but both movies flopped and the big reason was cause he got rid of Micheal. The guy is stupid and sensitive. Don't get it wrong I understand not wanting to deal with the guy that poked ur girl. But atleast get a different actor and continue with the original story instead of completely killing the character off. Harry potter did it with dumbledore and they still became huge. Like this movie series had the biggest potential to set ground work for werewolves aka lycans in general and could have been the movie people thought off when vampires and werewolves conversations came up instead of twilight light and vampire dairies. I was highly upset at the outcome but love the series bought both movies but crinch when anyone asked about the 4th and 5th movies cause there cheeks. He could have started a huge respected generation of lycan movies series and made a huge impact on the movie scene at the time. But now we're stuck with people having the idea that werewolves are overgrown dogs smh and that in some weird thought that vamps are stronger and faster then werewolves or lyca s. Like what? All The UnderWorld 5 films to date are A wonderfully volatile, bloody excellent.. And and their all equally bastarding deserving off their own 15 certificates and 18 certificates.. Then there's the animated UnderWorld film Endless War which take place in between most off the 5 films but not all 5 films..

The underworld series is underrated, in my opinion. I always preferred their explanation of how vampires and lycans came to be, including the original being nothing more than an immortal human. Side note, during the purge, Selene could have created an army of day walking vamps. Just sayin... 2nd side note: I would have liked to see a movie solely about when Marcus turned Victor and Amelia. Bill Nighy is one of my all-time favorite actors. His portrayal of Victor was so good. If someone ever pondered the question of what an elder vampire would really be like you'd just need to point to Victor like, "This dude, this dude is what they'd be like... 100% this dude. Cold, calculated, ruthless, and stuck in his ways... this fucking dude."

Another thing about David. Is that he does not think of Hybrids as abominations. Shown when he gets Eve healed and even offers to give his room to her.

How can you say Marcus was more powerful than Victor (which is true) but yet put him ahead of Marcus...makes no sense at all. I'd even say Marcus was more powerful than Selene since he was beating her until he became distracted when William was killed.
Yeah. That does not make any sense. He said he's stronger than Victor. Yet he puts Victor above Marcus.
The only possible answer to this is if in Victor's case, he is including the Vampire army at his command which seem to be extremely loyal to Victor. I suppose it depends if we are including that or just a one on one comparison.

If marcus planned properly after he awakens during the second film he could have gotten selene to hear him out. Instead he was bloodthirsty. He could have supported selene and say he just needs some blood to rescue his brother and in turn ask selene to turn william into a hybrid.

I have to correct you there bro, David was born at the time when Victor turned Seline, when Lucian broke free the Lycens from slavery. And after becoming a Covinus Hybrid Vampire, he became stronger than both Amelia, Sonia and Viktor.

If Marcus had known the Seline had grown so much stronger the fight would have been different. He found out when it was too late. His wings were seriously OP and a couple of times it was like they were 30 feet long, plus he could obviously levitate. When he was flying alongside that truck he was barely flapping them and when he would stop he didn't start to fall to the ground. His wings were deadlier than a sword or spear. If he had a sword in each hand he would be unbeatable. Put silver caps on the points of his wings and the lycans would have run for the hills. if they were able to put William in that sarcophagus they could have put him in chains and a silver lined cell. He wasn't chained in the sarcophagus but he couldn't break out. They could have placed him in a cell with silver-plated steel walls with a 60 foot steel ceiling plated with silver. Maybe put him on an island with a boat patrolling. Then Marcus could have tried talking to him. Maybe even Alexander would have tried talking to him. Maybe Alexander's blood would have changed him into a less savage version. Maybe Marcus's blood would have. He didn't attack Marcus when he saw him even though he hadn't seen him in 500 years. Maybe enough time in the cell, alone, with no one else getting anywhere near him would have been enough. Give him a cow every couple of days. I'm curious if he would have attacked other Lycans.

It's that simple, technically Marcus is the strongest vampire. Alexander Corvinus made it known to Seline that she's no match for Marcus until she took in his blood.
Ironically Varga could actually be older than Thomas or the entire Council. Vampires don't age.
Marcus would have been more powerful than Victor. I mean Marcus was literally the first vampire. The only way Victor could have been more "powerful" than Marcus was he was better at psychological manipulation, but that's not really a vampire specific power trait. I imagine in a one v one, Marcus could have dispatched Victor if strength was all that mattered.
All of the females and the only male character that wasn't killed in this franchise are my favorite characters.
Alexander could have shown more of the power he Possessed but insead with just a fragment of his original strand, Seline Became the Most powerful
which still doesn't make sense, since seline got a bit of alexanders blood, but marcus was born with it and is much older. of course seline won because of her training and tactics but she should have never been able to match marcus in physical powers.

What about Michael? I realize that he is probably not as powerful as Marcus and he's grossly under experienced compared to the others but, he could have easily defeated several on this list.
He was never a vampire. He was human, Lycan and then a Lycan-Vampire Hybrid.
He would definitely be in the top 7 most powerful characters in the Underworld franchise.
I feel that Michael was poorly treated as a character. We know that he was literally on oar with Markus because Markus could not overpower michael in their first meeting.. it's a shame that his character was mistreated. Lucian was also underutilized and mistreated as well

Just one question why killed off Michael first human into Corvinus first hybrid legendary legacy of underworld storyline altogether just to killed off this character. This legendary legacy character was beginning of selene character and eve's character more stronger.

Alexender was an immortal, but not a vampire.
It was said by Viktor that if Marcus died , him being the first, the bloodline of vampires would end, so Viktor technically got the position over Marcus.

if we talk about pure vampires, without any crossbreeding, the most powerful of all, by far, was Marcus. ability to transform, original Corvinus gene, clearly the strongest physically. Viktor was powerful, he could probably give Marcus a good fight, but the first vampire was noticeably stronger. Viktor seemed more authoritarian and arrogant only because he had more political power in the vampire house, as most of the members of the house were Viktor's army and subordinates, and Amelia was also on V. Marcus's side in a possible coup between older vampires, he would be alone against everyone. but 1vs1 is the strongest of all.

I agree with most Marcus should be stronger, but i remember the Michael fights also a hybrid. Victor fought Michael first and i know he just turned and was learning his powers. However he still had power, Victor easily turned that battle around and was about to kill Michael when Seline had to step in. Now later Marcus had fights with Michael as well both in hybrid form and showed more even at times. So i'm not ultimately sure if Victor was drastically weaker!! He was a ruthless killing leader with rage and violence strength, then you add being turned with vampire strength as well to become way stronger!! It's just a little what if to me
So in Underworld movies vampires grow/age, like humans since you say that David was born and is only twenty-five years old when the purge began. Also he has a mother and also a father... like a human.
It's a bit strange, for what we can see, I'd say in Underworld, vampires can reproduce, and when they are converted, they stay at that age forever, but when born, they age until they reach their prime, and then stop there, that's the only theory I can manage to think of.
In retrospect underworld would’ve been way better as a tv show. It has way too much lore similar to game of thrones
So underworld is my favorite movie franchise since I was a young man I remember when the movie 1st came out. It's a shame the the creator could get over his wife having a intimate relationship with the character named Micheal. If yall didn't know that was why the franchise went to crap. The producer at thw time was dating Selena but choose to make a sense where her and the character Micheal have ...u know. So in turn at some point between underworld 3 makings. He found out that they were messing with each other in real life. He was so angry he termed the contract with the character Micheal. And had to revamp the entire series. Hints the reason he came out with rise of the lycans. I was always a fan of lycan very much more than vampires. And I thought it was great even tho he was worried the movie would flop. But when it got a good rating and fans wanted more that's when he thought ok maybe I can do this without the character or actor that played Micheal and end up making 4 and 5 which were both poo poo. He just put some stuff together to finish the series cause it's what fans wanted but both movies flopped and the big reason was cause he got rid of Micheal. The guy is stupid and sensitive. Don't get it wrong I understand not wanting to deal with the guy that poked ur girl. But atleast get a different actor and continue with the original story instead of completely killing the character off. Harry potter did it with dumbledore and they still became huge. Like this movie series had the biggest potential to set ground work for werewolves aka lycans in general and could have been the movie people thought off when vampires and werewolves conversations came up instead of twilight light and vampire dairies. I was highly upset at the outcome but love the series bought both movies but crinch when anyone asked about the 4th and 5th movies cause there cheeks. He could have started a huge respected generation of lycan movies series and made a huge impact on the movie scene at the time. But now we're stuck with people having the idea that werewolves are overgrown dogs smh and that in some weird thought that vamps are stronger and faster then werewolves or lyca s. Like what? Anytime this topic comes up i always refer to this series as the ruin of all things wolves and lycan alike. When it had the power to be the ideal series and ground work going forward. I would love for them to try again with this but give us a Micheal not a pretty boy vamp we want a lycan or hybrid being the main character preferably a male lead but wouldn't mind a female hybrid if dont correctly. Sorry for the long rant I just had to vent hahahaha.

I don't like the judgement of Marcus. I believe that Marcus was right. Especially considering how as he became a hybrid he was able to switch between both forms. Their father should have joined Marcus after he came to him changed and helped him to at least try and see if they could save William by letting him be bit by Marcus.
