    NUX JTC PRO Drum Loop PRO is a dual switch looper pedal with 6 hours of recording time. It is capable of producing 24-bit sound with a 44.1 kHz sample rate and allows you to store 256 loops with a nice variety of drum patterns for you to enjoy. It is probably the most fun I've had with a looper pedal in a long time!

    Great demo and explanation. I have the Nu-X Atlantic delay/reverb pedal. Still getting to know it, but I like it a lot. This looper with the built-in drum tracks is great for musicians on a budget.

    This for me this is just the coolest non effect pedal @ a great price. Was a toss up between the Mooer x2 groove looper & this. This clearly wins. Less drum choices but more control over everything else. & looks way better doing it, ( very essential!🙄) What an excellent groove & rhythm creative training & implementation tool!

    Regarding the harsh cymbal sounds, the loop core deluxe had a feature called "frequency compensation function" that toned them down some. I don't know if this one has the same function, but on the loop core deluxe, you press and hold the save/delete button while powering it up to engage it. Worth a try.

    Thanks so much for the informative review. Could you go into more detail on the functions of the looper switch? Can’t get the hang of initial recording vs overdubs, then coming back to that loop later for practice. How do you get out of overdub mode and into starting a new loop? Cheers!

    thanks for the video. I since purchased it basically for using the memory for backing track use rather than the looper.
    A question if you could assist? It is about moving from one backing track to the next. I have looked at your video on the Nux Loop Core and using the footswitch. I bought a NUX NMP-2 footswitch which 'should' enable this on the JTC but either I’m challenged (very possible :) or the unit is faulty but I can’t make it work as I need - and to date can’t find any info on someone using both. I have a TRS cable, plugged into channel B and the switch in the open position. It works to stop the backing track but that’s all though I do seem to activate the rhythms sometimes but not quite sure how
    Anyway - Interested if you've had any experience with the footswitch with the JTC and/or how you move to the next back in track when gigging as the only way I can currently do it is to turn the memory select knob by hand. Many thanks, Adrian

    Hey just wanted to give you a shout out love your videos. I do have a question maybe I'm not going about this the right way. On your video you said there was a way to maybe play instrumental before adding drums. I tried a few different ways can't get the drums to kick in after 4 bars of instrumental. Does it have to be set to a AR or NR. When I did get it to work the temple that I set went back to 120 beats. Hope you can help me. Chris
    Looking forward to hearing back from

    Hi, great video. New sub... I have watched it several times. Yours is the most recent so maybe you'll answer. Most times when I set the tempo, AR mode and select the beat I go to hit the record switch and it just turns off. Meaning the red light goes black. Sometimes it works but I can't get a consistent fail. It does seem to work mostly when I am not starting with a beat and it never works with just the click track. Any ideas? Thanks much appreciated

    One thing I didn't quite understand is how to record, for example, a second six-measure loop over a two-measure loop. When I try to play the second loop, if I play for more than two bars above the first loop, what I played above the first two bars of the first loop immediately replays in real time preventing me from continuing to play the part for the following bars . How can it be done? Does the pedal allow it?

      You are obfiscating the fact that you had to follow the metronome light. These pedals will not truly be useful live until they really detect the groove and adjust accordingly (like Trio but much more advanced) My God that will be a happy day for a misanthrope full time 50 year single act (-:

    • @clbazar

      Logos So...what is the correct answer, did you ever find out? I’ve been trying to discern if it has a trs input like the Atlantic but I’ve been unable to find that info anywhere and I would think that whether a looper had the ability to record in stereo would be something that a few folks would want to know. 🤷‍♂️

    • @hebrewuser
      @hebrewuser 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@clbazar I can report: I pressed the issue with the company and was astounded at how little they understood about their own product. I did not stop until I got someone on the phone and walked through THEIR OWN website with them because they initially denied what I told them I found. They then had to admit that the info on the site was wrong -- THEIR IS NO WAY TO USE TRS BECAUSE THE INPUT CANNOT ACCOMODATE STEREO. NUX's reputation for me has been severly damaged.

    I've had this pedal a while now, the best thing about it for me is the limitless amount of internal memory which opens up all kinds of possibilities, you have 256 slots and you can put backing tracks, harmony lines and store whole loops but I've been using it to record my guitar, I play and record on the looper, take it to the PC, connect and import into Audacity and I've had some great results check out my Queen medley which was done in this exact way.
