Fishing In North Cornwall - Can I catch a Pollock ?

- This is a video of me trying to share with you my passion for fishing and the outdoors .
I visit a local rock mark to try and catch and narrowly miss a good Pollock , this then drives me too distraction and over a couple of days my determination to catch one grows....
Will I catch one or not ?

I used to live there and went back to London for work, still do lots of sea fishing down there and round Sussex mostly. Some good Marks round there but quite dangerous. Can probably point you in right place if need be. Be down next month for a while.

Hi mate, I have just found your channel, great to see you having some nice fish out and I love your enthusiasm for this wonderful county and all that it has to offer. Like you I relocated here from Hertfordshire some years ago. I have recently started shore fishing and can’t get enough of it , although I have not had that much success, it doesn’t dampen my enjoyment. I’m on the south side but if you’re up for it would love to come over the north side for a few sessions. Great videos keep up the good work 👍

Hi bud brilliant video I’m also pretty new to Cornwall moved down 2 years ago after loosing both my parents during lockdown decided time to change my life completely gave up my career and moved down to become a bus driver as it was the only job going during covid I’ve spent the last 12 months learning about LRF fishing mainly but really keen to do more coastal fishing but I’ve very limited experience so will definitely watching your videos and hopefully learn more I’m also putting up few videos mainly for my own record really appreciate any help you could give on finding few mackerel pollock or Bass I’m based in Camborne but travel all over normally round Falmouth mevagissy and hayle which my most local spots for LRF and wrasse but really want to try for some bigger species if ever fancy teaching a Emmet lol thanks tight lines bud

I'm sorry about your parents mate I lost my mum this year and that pain is real.
Best advice I can give on finding some mackerel is find a headland or point u can access that has some depth to it buy some small metal jig lures I use 30g o ones I think thay a called proberos or something on ebay cast out let it drop down near bottom and wind u OK repeat repeat rpeat if the mackerel are there u will cstch them
Keep your eyes out for the gulls they will tell u where the mackerel are 👍
I think pendenis point near Falmouth is a mackerel mark down your way 👍
If you even want a days fishing give me a shout I’ve live in Cornwall for 7 years and I love it I moved all the way from Devon another place I just happen to love.

@@johndixon7381 I’ve learnt a lot since my original comment but I’d love to find few easy excess rock marks onto deeper water try for bigger pollock but I love fishing happy catching tiny gobys to 5lb wrasse

let the lure sink mate ure fishing it on surface change lure a few times intill u catch u need to fish the lure deeper mate u would of caught loads there the fish are in the deep most times
