I've Honda City CVT and went to Nainital and the surrounding mountains. The performance was okay. Who goes to hill areas all the time, maybe once a year? City drive convenience is more important.
Dear Agar light foot karo ge gear up kare ga , but when u hard press the accelerator it automatically down shift the gears , cvt sense the ur Acceleration sequence
@@arpitsinghvlogs1105 we encoutered a steep slope on our way so we engaged in sports and in manual then it climbed easily. It was amaze petrol cvt. Even when we stopped on it it still managed to climb. S mode mein Aaram se Chadh gayi.
I incline with amaze 2022 cvt on hills with full of load just a trick i got reliability on Sport mode 2nd gear with peddle shift . On sport mode amaze cvt is tuned in such a way that it automatically change his gear when he requires even on sport manual mode while incline.
Fiat 1958 year model owned from mid 1980s to mid 90. No issues in climbing hill with adult passengers Then Maruti 800 till 2004 no issues and Santro 2005 model no issues. All had lesser power to weight and torque to weight ratio than honda amaze cvt Petrol
Bhai hills mein cvt best hai...... S mode daal dho aur 1 ya 2 speed mein easily gadi chad jaathi steep climbs... 6500 thak upshift bhi nahi kartha hai s mode main
i have punch amt. And i must say it's boring af when i am driving on highways and hillroads. i can say bye bye to overtaking and sudden push from engine.
I have owned a Honda City CVT for the last 8 years and have not faced any problems driving it uphill; I have driven 6000 km. Sorry, but you are not an experienced driver.
ये मसला CVT के साथ-साथ होंडा के engines की ट्यूनिंग का भी है। होंडा का मैन्यूअल पेट्रोल एंजिन अंडरपावर महसूस होता है तो फिर ये तो automatic है। मेरी manual WRV हाइवे पर बाइस का everage देती है लेकिन पॉवर की बहुत कमी लगती है।
इसकी अच्छाई को बुराई की तरह दिखा रहे हो गाय और बैल में अंतर होता ही है गाय को गाय की तरह उपयोग करना आना चाहिए और इसमें बैल का मोड भी है उसका भी सही उपयोग कीजिए
Ye launda baaji tabhi tak kaam aati hai jab tak road acchi ho.. jis din rat ko 11 baje pahado pe gaadi band padegi family ke sath us din reality pata chalti hai, nikaal to sab lete hain, but actual cheez batana zaruri hai bhai.. I made my efforts..
Absolutely ! You are right ! Each car is different but what matters is how much you know your own car if you know it better then you can ride it anywhere in hills.
In this Video YES because that is the main purpose of the video (to describe how CVT intends to have a continous variable changes) If you are confusing it with "I could have used Sports mode and paddle shifters to shift down" make a note the lowest point as well you could never have a 1st gear pull of a manual because the "clutch depression is not in your control " and do whatever you want your car WILL come to a halt to very steep inclines... be it D or S
More over I was talking about "Drive" mode, the Eco mode as you mentioned is not something you can choose in the CVT Amaze, it automatically activates if you are driving "ECO"nomically.. i.e there is no explicit button to activate eco mode.

As far as I know, in drive mode, the manual shift is for a few seconds but in sports mode, CVT usually holds high rpm until you upshift.

High speed and low RPM are good for fuel economy.
Use sport mode when you need more acceleration.

Well its machine and it depends on operator how they use it.
It’s good then and then you have better mileage. That’s tuning.. s mode for high RPM

I have gone up in hills in Jazz CVT and didn't find any issues.
Rare condition but take full loaded car once to extreme inclines (not recomended) then you will understand
i have very good experience with jazz zx cvt.... with 3 adult people, luggage.... no complaints at all...

I have hyundai IVT. Never faced any lack of power on hills.
bcoz u r driving in eco mode which is meant for better fuel efficiency
I didn't face the problem in my Honda CVT deisel .
