Peux OS RiverWM | A Light Arch Based Distribution

- Peux is an Arch based distribution that comes in many different desktops and window managers. They aim to provide users with a beautiful preconfigured desktop out of the box and include features to help secure your data. All of their versions use FISH as the default shell and default to BTRFS with auto snapshots enabled. In this video I take a look at their River edition. River is a tiling window manager for Wayland.

River is such a nice project, so I love that it's getting some traction
Well after watching this video you have piqued my interest in river wm and this distro. I will have to check this out tomorrow on my test machine. Great video as always I love your style. If you keep making the videos we will keep watching.

It is very nice. The bar is great, and the eye candy is good. I wouldn't call it bloat, but bigger than I need. I might consider installing in it as a VM and plagiarizing some of the configs!
Looks like some of the gtk2 versions of those themes are broken; therefore it reverts to the default gtk2 theme.
What login manager is that? I’m assuming its lightdm webkit2 but which theme is it using?

damn, shame I am too dependent on mouse and touch controls. If it werent for my 2in1, I would go for that tiling manager River PeuxOS is a solid member from now on of the most beautiful Linux, but I limit keyboard input for basic window operations cos I use the tablet mode a lot. But I got this PeuxOS on my radar.

Why do all of these new arch distrobutions use htop instead of btop ? , I find btop to be the better of the 2 for it's customizations and being vastly more detailed in statistics.

I can't login the install screen. Autologin is not working for liveuser in virtualbox.
