I'd love to see Aputure put the same effort into the European market as they do for the US - with a website, an online shop, deals, bundles and all that. Why is it not happening?
This depends on your camera settings and a bunch of other factors. Check out our interview lighting video here for an example: th-cam.com/video/A1rOFSqxGZY/w-d-xo.html
Would you please expand a bit on what this statement from the compatibility page means: The 200x is compatible with but not optimized for use with the Fresnel 2x.
@@amarancreators I see, I like Amaran products and I am loyal aputure customer. This release so quick sounds like something weird like if the product (200x) was not perfect and needed to be corrected, did you understand what I mean ? I am totally satisfied by the original 200x btw and I would very interested to test on my channel the differences of you S version.
Why is 200x S isn't compatible with 2x fresnel or spotlight mount? Would they introduce some color cast or not-so-defined shadows? But can be still used with the light?
Sorry for my ignorance, I'm new to lighting. How does the 100 differ from the 200-watt model? Does it only speak about the light intensity? Or something else? I really appreciate any help you can provide.
The difference between 100d and 200d would just be the output! The D stands for daylight and X signifies bi-color. So X variants of lights can go from daylight color temperature to tungsten and beyond.
So, the 60d is brighter that the 100d?? Accordin with its promotial videos the 60d is 45k lux at 1m ant the 100d is 34 600 lux at 1m Are the numbers true then?
@@hecjvaldez Don't. I bought the G60. It's too small! Small to the point it feels like a toy. The adjustment knob is ok tiny, it hurts my finger every time I try to tilt the light up and down. I have the Forza 60b and will continue to use it instead (even though there's a bit of fan noise and the G60 is DEAD silent). I'll add the 100d S or 200d S to my kit and keep the toy light somewhere for travel (or return it).
Hey, is the Aputure Light Dome II compatible with COB 100 and COB 100 S Series? In one Accessory Compatibility Chart it says it isn't compatible and in the description above it says yes. Wondering if it's compatible? Best

Yup, gonna need to add the new 200x s to my group of amaran/Aputure lights
Just keeps getting better. 😃
Would love if the x s would have green/magenta correction.
What percent do you recommend I set the Amaran 200d s to? I'm using it with the dome light SE btw. Thanks!

i have Amaran 100d, whats the new with Amaran 100d S
Hi, Is it possible to mount an umbrella to it? How hot does it get at max brightness?
3:20 in the video there is an umbrella mount 😉

Just responded to your comment on the other vid 👍🏻
Can I get the response to this question?
that meens that the amaran 200X I purchaced is bad light quality ?
😂
No! This is just slightly better light quality. We still use both

@@SupraheadStudio 😂😂😂 you gor ripped off lol😂😂
They update too fast..
It has to be 2 batteries together for it to power on? If I mount one battery, and try turn it on, what will happen?
No. If you’re using the 2 bay station you will need 2 batteries.

Exactly! Not necessarily color cast but it does effect the shadows.
would love to know how many lux on softbox

@@amarancreators Thank you. So I guess, if you have a small room or area, the 100-watts could do the job. Appreciate the response.
Hi, the 100d does the job pretty well indoor, but not be enough if you need something for outside in daylight.
So, the 60d is brighter that the 100d??

The 60d is not brighter than the 100d. There may be a typo
Are you planning to compete with the new Zhiyun x100 ? would love an Amaran light as compact as that
Check out the amaran COB 60x!
@@amarancreators Thanks! I was just about to buy that, but then the Zhiyun G60 and x100 were released and looks more portable 😬

@@GertKombate Thanks a lot!!
Can you use a battery with this? If so which one
If you are looking for battery power you can pair these with the 2 bay battery station and use V mounts.

It’s compatible but not optimized due to the weight of the modifier. So if you do use it with light dome ii be careful with the weight.
@@amarancreators thank you
Is Better Amaran 100d or neewer fs150b?
Depends on your need. B will be bicolor. However, if you're interested in changing color temperature I'd recommend the 200x or 150/300c
None of these lights are RGB correct?
Correct. For RGB point source, check out the 150c and 300c
Pretty useless, because I can read the specs myself...
Now, what is a user guide about this video contribution?
What would you have liked to see more of?
