- Hello! In this video, I check out a Bukowski book from the library and read it like a greedy 15 year old. Other authors mentioned (veeeeeery superficially!): Penelope Fitzgerald, Everett, Fante, etc. I close by sort of sweeping the camera broadly over my shelves and saying that I’m “tempted” by all the books.

looking forward to you making more videos. Always enjoyed Bukowski, there’s little to no bs with Bukowski which is refreshing.
Your simplicity, no fancy clickbaits that's what makes this Channel great for me , One of the best channel atleast for me Well Have you read War and peace !
I have read the first 50 pages 😅 I really wanna tuck into it properly soon. Tolstoy is waaayyyyy better than Bukowski says he is 😂
Great mate 👍🙏🫡@@leafyconcern
I love Percival Everett, and So Much Blue is the next one I want to read!
I want to read it too, and talk about it with you! Also: you should meet my friend Patrick, who recommended the book to me.
i like the texture of your table leafy
Lotta chips of wax and match ash
Read that John Fante!! And the Calvino!!
I am really excited to read the Calvino. Took another look at the start of "If on a winter's night" the other day and knew I'd be getting to the rest of the book soon.
Ham on Rye is so memorable
I am looking forward to reading it
great video, made me want to revisit bukowski :)
Thanks for watching! These past couple reads have been my first visit, more or less. I bet that you'll have a thought-provoking time if/when you revisit.
would you ever do a full bookshelf tour someday
Yeah I’d do that! Sounds fun, easy, and potentially cozy.
@@leafyconcern yay! I just love your poetry shelf tour a lot - would be nice to get a view of the whole collection.
I would love that too
Note taken, y’all!
I want that too!! Maybe go by color ? Each color could be its own video!
