Diesel particulate filter is full on that Ram. That is a $400 repair at least. Also it takes 10.5 quarts of synthetic Diesel oil. 😊

I looked up the bus, 3 of them from that school caught on fire this year. With kids on, I guess bluebird had a recall on the them. Fuel line and brake issues
It's a shame that Olds was all smashed up. The interior looked immaculate! Such a comfy car. It was my first car, and I learned how to drive in one!

On diesels, when they say exhaust filter full, you can just go drive it at a certain rpm and it'll go into clean mode instead of taking it to dealership to have them do it, saves a lot of money and most people don't know they can do it themselves

It would be awesome if you were to bring another vintage Cadillac to the channel. I think you had a mid 60s Coupe De Ville at one time if memory serves me right. I bet a late 60s to early 70s Fleetwood or Eldorado would get its fair share of views. The Caddies Vice Grip Garage has had were through the roof!! Those vintage Caddies will always be classic!!

My uncle had 4 eco- diesels the dealership just kept replacing them. instead of doing anything with the motor they would replace the whole truck the only time I ever seen that done

Eldorado 1999 ETC black on black in 09 it was mint. I got it for $1,500 just needed tires. I drove the crap out of it and never had an issue. It had 67k on the odometer.
Randy, please look at more Toyota/Lexus. Biggest recommendation is looking at the timing cover gaskets on the right side/passenger side that’s common on them. Besides that they’re amazing!!!

I've gone through many many cars looking for parts when my car needed something replaced, but I haven't come across one that smelled of pot before. I did find a couple of weird looking bales in the trunk of one once, though. It didn't really seem like mj, though, but I didn't spend much time investigating.

The Sonic: Rent an ozone generator, place it in the closed up car for 48 hours on medium, then vacuum everything out and wipe the inside down. That worked for me when I got my stolen Mercedes back.

Eco diesel problem is the diesel particulate filter is 100% blocked you can fix with a code reader and do a different regeneration I run a chevy orlando diesel in the UK and have had to fix my own dpf filter

I didn't know that the Eldorado had the Northstar that early. Good to know. So the Fleetwood got the LT and the Eldorado got the new Northstar.
Yes, the Northstar V8 actually debuted in early 1992 but only in the Allante model. This engine is Cadillac's longest production V8 engine. The 5.7L Lt1 V8 was used in the Fleetwood Brougham model as it was shared with the Chevrolet Caprice sister car. Both excellent engines of the older era.

Looks like a similar bone to what Monkeywrench Mike found under the hood of one of his Mercedes wagons. I am puzzeled why Ram never offered the 4 cylinder verson of the Cummins 6 cylinder diesel in the Ram 1500. That engine has alot in common with the 6 cylinder and is more than adequate for a light duty pickup.
The 3.9 litre 4 cylinder diesel from Cummins was used in the Blue Bird stubbies. We had one bus #88 🚌 at my high school that had the 3.9l in it and was set at 180hp. Was a intercooler turbo engine which made that little stub go without any issues. 😂😊
