First, thanks for the video. I have been trying to wrap my head around how to route the cables. A couple of questions. The “forward wire chase”, what year did they begin adding those? Then there was a wire romex junction box next to where the 6/4 surfaces. What is it used for? Lastly what do you use to seal the holes (black foam)? Thanks in advance.
Great questions! The wiring chase from one side of the rig to the other is on most airstreams we encounter. I'm unsure when they were introduced. The chase from the AC panel to the rear is actually the exterior skirt of the airstream. The junction box is to redirect the panel's AC main input to the inverter input. Then the inverter's AC output is sent to the main AC panel main. We use exterior-grade spray foam to seal the holes (model varies by availability).
